I was diagnosed with PCOS and Insulin Resistance at 12 but they kicked in my body around 7. I've always eaten low carb and low to sugar free but most strictly when I was pregnant with my daughter. I had 3 miscarriages prior with my husband, and through medication and constant monitoring, we conceived out daughter Emilia. I started going through the process when my husband was deployed and got the surgery two months after he came home, a week after our daughters 1st birthday. The main reason I wanted this sleeve is for fertility, I was 195% comfortable with my size and who I was before surgery but I'm really, really happy now and hope to get to my goal weight within a year, as of now I have 35-40 lbs to go! Hoping to conceive #2 the end of this year 201 without trouble or held with meds or anything like last time, and no constant and expensive monitoring as well.
