  1. I actually just returned to work today exactly 4 weeks after surgery. I took as long as my job provided for a paid leave without having to jump thru hoops. I think it was worth it. I was able to feel a little normal again seeing that I'm In the soft foods stage now. My advice is take as long as you need and are able to. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Multivitamin

I had my sleeve on 7/28 and I'm About a month out. I'm getting all my liquids and Protein in finally. Recently I got the Vitamins that my program suggest I take but they are awful. I have to take 4 chewable tablets twice a day. Is there any other substitute for the Multivitamin that meets all the requirements. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Can't Get In Enough Protein

I had my sleeve done on 7/28 and I had the same problem. I just made myself sip Water and kept increasing it. I'm about a week and a half out and now can drink 2 9oz Protein shakes and the rest of my liquid requirement. It's not easy it actually was painful for the first 4-5 days but then it got better. 4. So I was sleeved 7/28 I'm in the liquid stage of my diet. Had a very hard time getting the liquids down. Currently I'm only able to do 2 new direction shakes and Water through out the day. But although I'm not hungry I still have the urge to eat. I've cheated and ate 3 morsels of skinny popcorn. Afterwards I feel awful. For now I'm trying hard to get to 3 shakes a day but it's been difficult. Im loosing weight but not sure what to do about wanting to chew all the time. Any suggestions? Post op

I'm doing room temperature liquids since I noticed a difference when I drank cold liquids. When I was discharged I left drinking 8 ounces a day so it has been increasing slowly. I've tried eating Jello and that ask caused pain. My next attempt will be either Soup or cream of wheat. I have a post op check up tomorrow so I will address the issue with the dr again. Prior to leaving the hospital the dr was aware and said the pain might remain for a while until my stomach starts to expand. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I'm four days post op and I'm only able to drink 9oz of Water (on a good day). The pain when the liquid goes down is truly unbearable. Any suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
