Looks Like I'm one of the Veterans on this topic, "Don't do it" stay away from sugar after surgery adleast first 6 months if you want the best results. Remember, you didn't do this to yourself for mediocre results, right? After my first year they took me off metfomin no more diabetes. Yeppie! so no Sugar you can do it.

I am 6 months post op and have used PatchMD from the start. The Multi and B12. I just had my first blood work completed and everything was normal. It's a small patch you put on your body everyday it's much easier than swallowing pills on a daily basis. Sent from my SM-N915V using the BariatricPal App -
Anybody have problems at work when asking off for surgery?
#thebestofme replied to meljoy's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
As long as you get a Dr's note that he requires you to take time off. Legally work must approved and keep your job for you. Be sure to give the note to HR and let them know you do not want to disclose your surgery to anyone. I took 1 month off ( my Dr approved). I signed up for short term disability. This time really helped me take time to focus on healing, my diet, and life style. Sent from my SM-N915V using the BariatricPal App -

Naan is bread so it expands. Your pouch after surgery is swollen for adleast 6 months Until fully heald. In addition to it has no nutritional value that's needed for post op patients so it's a waste of space. It hurts and it made me vomit. Sent from my SM-N915V using the BariatricPal App

I'm not indian but I love indian food. I'm 4 months post op. Warning stay away from naan and roti it will upset your stomach It still upsets mine so does rice UHG! But spices don't bother me an most of the Indian vegetable dishes and paneer I eat fine with no issues in addition to the Soups. Sent from my SM-N915V using the BariatricPal App
