    Dehydration?

Dry mouth by itself is not a sign of dehydration. The best way to tell is to check the color of your urine. It should be clear, very pale yellow. The darker and smellier it is the more dehydrated you are. Dehydration can also cause dizziness, lethargy and confusion. Sent from my iPhone
  3. Yes you can still binge eat on "slider" foods such as popcorn. They go right through the sleeve and do not fill you up. Spend some time in counseling if you can to get to the bottom of why you binge eat before getting surgery. It is a lot of money to spend! Sent from my iPhone
  4. As long as you are comfy it shouldn't bother your incisions to sleep on your stomach. I'm a stomach/side sleeper and never really stopped. Sent from my iPhone

    Dry Mouth?

Yes! So dry I had to constantly have Water nearby. It finally resolved after a couple weeks. Sent from my iPhone
  6. I have Anthem and they required a 6 month supervised diet. While that was going on did all the psych eval and nutritionist consult. Once everything was turned in it took about a week to get approved. Sent from my iPhone
  7. Yes...I had Dr Schroeder and think he is a great surgeon and the program is very good. No questions at all about what needs to be done pre and post surgery. Sent from my iPhone
  8. I'm so sorry for your loss. Pregnancy loss is devastating and there is no real way to get over it other than time. So my advice would be just to give yourself some time to grieve and then get yourself ready to start trying again. Eating right and exercise included. You still want to be in top shape for the rainbow baby to come. Hugs to you. Sent from my iPhone

    Traveling 1 week after Sleeve?

I would probably play it by ear and see how you feel but keep the husband and kids going either way! A week alone after surgery sounds pretty amazing to me personally. Sent from my iPhone

    recovery after surgery

What kind of things would you need help with? Do you have kids/pets to take care of? My husband helped with kids and pets but if it was just myself I would have been fine on my own. I would not have needed to stay with anyone. Sent from my iPhone

    Pre-Op Diet - Terrible Headaches!?

I had the same thing...googled and read about the "carb flu" which basically happens when you cut out carbs and sugar. It was miserable but finally passed after about a week. Hang in there! Sent from my iPhone

    Food Comfort

So sorry for your loss...we have lost two dogs and I still think about them and miss them years later. We have 4 dogs now and I dread the day they will be gone. Two are geriatric at this point. Hoping you feel better soon. Sent from my iPhone

    Food Taste

I did basically the same thing but made homemade chicken broth in the crockpot then strained it. So tasty and felt like I was eating real food! Sent from my iPhone

    Sleeve day surgery?!?!

I spent the night in the hospital but wish I could have gone home instead. Was out by 11am the next day. Sent from my iPhone
  20. I have not been to Disneyland but went to Disney World a couple weeks ago. We ate out for most meals. My daughter (9) and I would usually split a chicken Cesar salad or occasionally a cheeseburger which I would eat with no bun. Also ate part of my husband's meals and never really ordered one for myself. I did not want to be carrying a bunch of food around while in the parks. I took strollers, bags, and tons of stuff for years so I am happy not carrying anything more than a small purse! Sent from my iPhone ETA: I lost 5 pounds on that trip! First time ever to lose weight on vacation

    1 month post op!

I was back at work after 4 weeks working 12 hr nights. Probably could have gone back sooner because I felt great but still had a lifting restriction. Best of luck to you! Sent from my iPhone

  23. Mine was 10/25 and I prefer to drink from a straw. I actually feel like I take in LESS air and can get more Water in that way. Sent from my iPhone
  24. I took Tylenol and sudafed 12 hr last week when I had a cold. (VSG 10/25) Drink plenty of warm fluids and that will help soothe your throat as well. Hope you feel better! Sent from my iPhone
  25. Here is what I have gotten from my doc. At 6 months and beyond only 1000 cal. 50 carbs or less. Maybe switch it up a little. Sent from my iPhone
