I had plantar fasciitis for almost a year. I developed it from playing league tennis at least 3 times a week. The pain was excruciating. I think you will find that shoes, inserts, exercises, stretching etc. will only make it a little better over a long amount of time. The best solution is to either pop it by continuing to use it excessively or have the surgery. The surgery does the exact same thing as popping it. They go in and cut it and let it heal naturally. It will now be longer and not provide any more pain. Here is the best part. It heals very very fast!! I was in a boot for less than a week. I was even back on the courts in around 2 to 3 weeks. My wife and another person I know also did the exact same thing with the exact same results. I guarantee, your feet will like new!! It wont matter what shoes you were at all anymore or what activities you do! No more pain since! Best thing that ever happened to my foot!!

It was short and sweet. I feel comfortable enough to do it. I couldn't schedule it until the Thanksgiving holidays though! I hate having to wait that long!!
