I have Anthem BSBS and have to wait 6 months so my first appointment was July 27 and surgery will not be until January or February. Totally depends on your insurance. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

I too can only lose 10 pounds or I won't qualify. The problem is I have to wait 6 months so I have to only maintain a 10 lb weight loss but they put me on the pre op Protein diet so how can I only lose 10 lbs ?? Anyone else have this issue?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

I'm just starting. I had my initial appointment on July 27th and also have to wait 6 months. I'm a little bummed because I thought it was 3 but that's ok. They throw a lot at you. It can be a bit overwhelming but I'm determined! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
