I'm getting so frustrated. I've been to the surgeon, nutritionist and exercise therapist 3 times. I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get a surgery date My insurance is Triwest through the military. Starting to get upset. I'm waiting to have gastric bypass.

My local hospital has a pool and certain times they have bariatric patients. Pre and post op. I'm calling them to find out the schedule. Still don't know when surgery will be. I have tricare and it's taking forever. Getting frustrated. I was going to the gym until a few airmen (military base) start laughing at the "fat girl"

Has anyone not received support from friends or family? My friend said I don't need the surgery and that all I had to do is go on a diet and exercise. I wish it was that easy I have 3 sons and 2 of them are totally against the surgery, my husband isn't too thrilled either. I feel as if I don't have any support. Really frustrating. You all have awesome responses. Thank you Last night I was shocked. I bought Biotin pills to start taking now before my surgery. My husband asked what they were and I told him. I told him I could lose some hair (I have VERY thick hair) He asked me if I'm worried about the hair and I told him "not as much as I'm worried about my diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea and high cholesterol" His response was "that is true, your health is more important" Maybe he is FINALLY starting to see my side of this surgery. First off I have Tricare as my insurance. My surgeon said that Tricare requires 4 months of nutrition appointments and exercising. I have lose weight but not telling me how much. I go through triwest. My surgeon said I meet the guidelines. My bmi is 40 and I have type2 diabetes, hypertension and sleep apnea. My last appointed was in the beginning of August and now I don't go back to September 26. The only thing they have me doing so far is exercise.
