Yes I felt full on mine my liquid diet never bothered me I cooked for my family the entire two weeks. I wasn't miserable or moody or depressed nothing. And it's hard to meet the 1200 for most diets they just don't want u to exceed the 1200 calories. Atleast that's how it was for mine. Gl Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

So I'm supposed to start my liquid diet tomorrow for my surgery on the 22nd!! My husband went in the hospital Saturday with heart complications and a gall stone to top it off. They said the gall bladder is an outpatient surgery that they will schedule before he leaves the hospital. He sees the cardiologist this morning sometime and may have to have heart surgery. My dad and his parents are both telling not to post pone my surgery but we have three kids ages 14...11.... & 7. We can't both be laid up. I just really feel his is more serious and mine can wait where they feel my health is serious to and it shouldn't be put off. Just don't know what to do. Honestly a desk job I think I will be fine I run my own daycare so I'm chasing little kids all day ages 5 months to 3 years old Plus I have three kids of my own ages 7,10,13. My morning starts at 5 am and I'm never even go to lay down until 1130. Between cleaning kids homework baths job dinner dishes laundry I expected to be completely wiped out. And I feel great!!! Alittle sore when bending but otherwise no complications no exhaustion. No nausea. I think as long as u have no complications at all u shld be fine I had the bypass done. It's amazing how much we are not centered around food anymore. I sat there last night watching my husband eat dinner I made then an ice cream sandwich then party mix then beef Jerky then another ice cream sandwich and I'm like wow I would have usually ate something every time he did. His metabolism is a lot better then mine and he doesn't really put on the weight. He has a gut that's it. But it just really makes u think about how much my life re was centered around food. So sorry for ur complications I also was the 22 no issues had rny went home the next day no pain meds. Back to work last Friday. Yes the ketosis SUCKS. I BRUSH MY TEETH TEN TIMES A DAY AND ITS STILL SMELSS HORRIBLE! I'm down ten pounds since since surgery. I think everyone is different. I'm praying for you and ur recovery and wish u the best. I am doing great I went home the next day went back to work Friday three days post op struggling with getting all my fluids and Protein bc I feel so full all the time go for a follow up Friday. But it went so well for me that it's scary lol I expected sooo sooo worse. No pain pills nothing. I had a great holiday turkey broth for thanksgiving lol just a little bit and was stuffed. The anesthesiologist will give you plenty of meds to relax you and you will never know you are "going under." I remember getting ready to leave the pre-op area then the next thing I remember is waking up in recovery. Try not to worry Sent from my iPhone yes I don't even remember going under I remember going into the operating room them say we're gunna give u something to relax u and then waking up in recovery lol. As soon as I woke up I asked to walk they said I had to be moved to my room before I could walk so they moved me to a room right away when they said are u ready to get into ur bed(from the stretcher) I said no I'm ready to take a walk. They were shocked. I was called the role model patient. I didn't sleep at all not even thru the night I just kept walking. I've never been away from my kids so I couldn't sleep without them. Keep urself busy I cleaned rearranged cupboards pulled out fridge and stove stripped beds and washed bedding did all laundry mated socks. Dusted. steamed floors shampooed carpets decorated for xmas all before my surgery one I knew a lot of it I couldn't do for awhile after surgery and two it kept my mind busy. That's all I used that I brought was extension cord cell phone charger cell phone and gas x strips. Brush and tooth brush. Wore home the same clothes I wore in since they were clean. Just clean under wear. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
