    I never met a fat fruitarian! I think it depends on what else you eat along with fruit in a day. Too much Protein turns to carbs as well. We need the Fiber and the liquid in our gut.       My surgery was 5/16/16....Synthroid keeps my thyroid regulated so I've had not problems. I'm down a little over 57 pounds so far.

    I am a week out tomorrow. Right, not hungry. I can see how easy it would be to get dehydrated. Sipping is a chore when you are use to guzzling. Sugar free popsicles are my favorite. I use the SF jello in plain Greek yogurt which has 25 g protein in 120 calories.

    I had mine July 26th... I am 5 days post op. No one told me to expect weight gain after iv fluids.i appeared to have gained 5 lbs. Apparently this is common. I am hypthyroid though. I didnt need to be discouraged. I am 5 days out now and scared to weigh in. I will wait another week. Any hypothyroid patients out there having success?

    I too was 5 lbs heavier post op the day i got home from the hospital. I was so depreessed, being hypothyroid as well. I felt so defeated . i knew I lost weight on 2 week pre op. To then gain weight on sf jello and popsicles. I called the drs office in tears of course. I am 5 days post op now and am scared to get on the scale again. However, I can see weight loss in my body. Still# pts hypo scale
