Hi guys, I have just been approved for insurance through Washington state, due to my husbands unemployment and our recent financial hardships. I'm hoping to take this opportunity to get gastric bypass. I've tried googling to find out as much as I can, and I've made an appt to see my pcp on 8/26 so she can give me a referral. I was diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure in April, and I'm fairly certain I have sleep apnea as well. (I'm also going to ask about a sleep study!) my bmi is around 63, per the calculator I used. Any advice or tips? I'm anticipating that this will be a long journey, but I'm so excited to get started!
