Yes. Everyone's plan is different. I was required to have liquids for one week now I'm on purée for 2 weeks. As long as we see results... That's what's important. I'm required to have 64oz of Fluid. Yea the gas can be a nuisance lol. Isn't amazing to never be hungry? I was only on liquid for a week. For some reason Protein shakes are gross to me now... Way too sweet Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Everyone's pain level is different. It's normal to still be sore at this time as we've only been out a week. I have a bit of soreness but I don't need the pain medication given- it's manageable. The sleeping pattern is still tough. Like you I only feel comfortable laying on my back. I'm usually a side sleeper so that's been taking some getting used to. I had my 1st visit post op today. Prior to the pre-op diet I was 238. The day of surgery I was 220. I weighed in today at 224! I've heard about patients carrying weight from the Fluid and surgery but I was surprised to see that I'm still up 4 pounds a week out which has really been discouraging. My NUT told me to focus on my 14pd weight loss victory but it's difficult to accept the fact that I haven't lost in the week following surgery. On the bright side of things.
