Hello! Wanted to receive some shared experiences from menstruating women. Have your cycles changed at all since surgery? I'm one month out & Mother Nature is on her 2nd day (or 3rd day) and the 1st day it was a bit of spotting here & there with some slight cramping (I've never had menstrual cramps the entire 18 years I've been menstruating) I'm not sure if that counts or was a warning that it was coming. Yesterday & today it's still very very light did anyone else experience this? I have an iud so my cycles are usually heavy so I'm a bit surprised & confused as to what's going on. Yes, I understand that my body just experienced a dramatic change but wanted to see if anyone else experienced this as well Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hello Sleevers! I am 2 weeks post op and am beginning to feel hungry for the 1st time today, all day. I have 20 more grams of Protein before I reach my 80 gram mark today. Call an Uber. You don't need anyone to be there for you if they don't want to be. Go in w/ a peaceful mind. You'll more than likely sleep most of the time anyway. Hi Sleevers! This post is largely for those of you who've reached goal & may have had stretch marks or cellulite prior to surgery. How has your body changed, has the cellulite disappeared... Stretch marks diminished? Please share your story and if possible before & after pics of "problem" areas. I'm a month post op & HATE my cellulite. I have it all over my legs. If they will vanish once I reach my goal (130) I'd be so ecstatic! I've always wanted to wear shorts but have never due to the sight of them. Please share! Thanks. You'll be fine. I have stretch marks all over my belly (thanks to motherhood) didn't have a problem at all. I haven't heard of stretch marks interfering w/ surgery... That's interesting. I'm sure there are other Sleevers that can chime in as well to let you know that you have no worries. Now the liver may be an issue if you do not follow pre-op instructions. Mine have just began to lighten up after having it for what seems like forever lol. I was worried about the random spotting after surgery but my monthly visit was lighter this time around. Hopefully that's an affect of the surgery. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
