i had the same reaction with eggs, im 3 weeks post op and still cant do scrambled eggs successfully yet. i get a nasty gurgle/upset stomach and it feels like i need to spew it back up! i do a little better with deviled eggs for some reason, its all trial and error! for me it got easier a week into being back to eating some actual food. it took me about 5 days post op to finally be able to comfortably pass gas. sitting on the toilet and pulling my knees close to my chest as much as i could helped me a lot. good luck, it will get easier! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

i am a week post op today, and i wish i could tell you a way to ease your mind but i went in scared to death no matter what i told myself. luckily the surgeons nurse that took me in held my hand so tight and comforted me until i went out. when i woke up it was like nothing happened and laughed at myself for being such a big baby haha! it will be alright i promise you! trust your surgeon and hopefully you get a sweet nurse like i did, she made all the difference. you will do great, relax as much as you can before your date! i over packed big time haha. most of the stuff i brought i didnt even touch. i would recommend deodorant and chapstick for sure and if your nurses allow it, gas x. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
