So today I am 16 days post op. I am still on a full liquid diet. Per my doctor I have developed an extremely rare complication where everything is sitting in my stomach and not moving as it should. I was given medication bit told not to move on to pureed. It's frustrating. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App

Bariatric Surgery Food Card
forever changed replied to JohnGraySmiley's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was given one during my hospital stay. I won't use it because even with the larger portion I can take it home for several other meals. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App -
So I am really in a state of shock. At pre-o.o on July 12th I was 384. On surgery day July 25th I was 369. Today the scale read 332. I was not expecting to lose so fast. I am try happy but I'm shock. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App

I haven't been for very long. I have read several posts where people are just not happy with their progress. I truly do have the mentality that some is better than none. I expect stalls and possibly a few gains. I try to be realistic. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App

Why would I not be of sound mind? As with many people on here I wanted to share my joyous moment. I am still happy with my decision to have this surgery even though I have had some complications. I don't live a life of regrets. So I would be just as thankful for losing 20lbs as I would be for 50. I don't have a negative mentality. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App

Got sleeved on 7/29
forever changed replied to Justgotsleeved's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just hang in there. Regret is normal. I was sleeved 7/25 and started at 369. I have lots of pain trying to sleep. I stayed in the hospital 4 days. I am still not getting 32 oz of liquids. I am really struggling. I have found that popsicles help. My dietician had me taking a sip every 5 minutes but I couldn't handle it. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App -
7/26/16 VSG Surgery, Anyone else?
forever changed replied to blueeyedgirlvsg's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had my surgery on 7/25. I am still in pain. There is pain with every sip. I had a hiatal hernia repair as well. I was told because of this there would be more pain. I am not eating enough out of fear of vomiting. I did a lot of that in the hospital which resulted in a 4 day stay. I am positive that things will get better. Gastric Sleeve! I need help!
forever changed replied to Sara16's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was sleeved on the 25th and I am still working on my liquids. It seems all I do is drink. I am scared to have pudding or Jello because vomiting is horrible. I experienced that a lot in the hospital. I ended up staying 4 days because I couldn't keep anything down. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App -
Well tomorrow is the day. I am at peace with my decision. It took me five years to finally go through with it. I have prayed and meditated. My family knows and for the most part are supportive. I have declared that for me tomorrow I will become new in many aspects. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App
