  1. Abby, you are a wonderful writer! I truly enjoy reading your posts. And, you look fantastic! Wow!You have been through so much and are all the more strong for it. Comments like the one you received need to be tossed into the shredder. Go, girl! make it a great day
  2. I saw that i can make a smoothie with a banana in my full liquid stage. When it was time to eat dinner, the bananas looked so tempting that i figured if i can have one in a smoothie, i can have one if i chew it well. I had my surgery july 11... Any opinions? Scrambled eggs?

I tried it when i was cleared for it. A piece got stuck and I had a couple hours of terrible pain. My Dr was going to send me to the ER for an upper GI, but i finally vomited it out. I waited a couple of weeks before trying it again. It was much better, but still had some issues. The point is that many people can tolerate it and many people cannot. Just proceed slowly and carefully until you know which category you fit into. Good luck! make it a great day
  6. Hi! I'm 6 weeks post op now, but i had the same thoughts for the last 2 weeks before surgery. I was terrified, and unsure if im doing the right thing. However, it was just cold feet. I went through with it, and although it's hard work, im very glad i did. 32 lbs down and developing good habits.. Good luck to you! make it a great day

From fat and firm to fit and floppy.

    Amen! You rock, lipstick lady!
  11. I'm so glad you responded, Valentina! I think us newbies want to hear that there are people who are still successful down the line. I know thats my biggest fear. Like, will this tool still be helping me after the first year? It's scary to think that I've gone through such a major procedure, and worked on so many habits and life changes, and the restriction will only last a short time. So to hear that you still have restriction is very reassuring. I hope you feel better soon from your skin surgery!

    Professional Wardrobe

Very similar in style to the skirts I had made when I was larger (except mine are longer). I am going to see if the lady who is doing some alterations for me can run up some basics for now.Sorry for eavesdropping But, I've found great skirts that don't cling at Dress Barn... Good luck!
  14. I'm so glad for your new life! Enjoy every moment!

    Work out!

I began slowly at 2 weeks (treadmill, bike). At 4 weeks, i began my regular workout (including weight machines), but took it slow. I am now 5 1/2 weeks out and I love going to the gym!
