My insurance approval packet was submitted last Thursday and today, my surgeon's nurse emailed me saying they had denied coverage, due to missing nutritional consultation. That was submitted in the original packet. Nurse re-submitted the packet again, and my fingers are crossed. This is beyond nerve-wracking.

Meeting with the surgeon on Monday, 9/26/16. After that, a weight management appointment Oct 5th, and they'll be submitting my packet for approval!

WHOA! Got all my appointments set! Have 2 on August 11th, and 3 on August 16th. Then two weight management group appts on Sept 7th and October 5th. They said that the fact I have both a dietitian and physical therapy appt together in August will count for the weight management requirement for August. This should meet all the requirements for my insurance to approve after October 7th, when my paperwork is submitted!
