I'm 16 days post op and on a puréed diet. I got my period this week which hasn't helped my mood at all (after not having it for a year and a half). As of last week I was down 12 pounds in just a week post op. I have to be honest with all of you I almost feel depressed. I hate when my family eats in front of me and I'm actually kind of miserable. All I want to do is nap. Can someone please tell me this is normal? Can this be a chemical imbalance? Help please! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

@@reducer623 ... I'm waiting until Thursday my one month mark to weigh in. I do want to ask you all ... I'm having a hard time taking my meds. It feels like they just sit in my belly. I need some help everyone. I had my daughters two years ago and ever since then I have had the Mirena. I have not had a period in a year and a half. I am 12 days post op and I have a period. @@Dawnie Doo ... Just as a heads up I was on the High Protein Boost and thought to myself how yummy it was. It's has 27grams of sugar. I was have terrible stomach pains one week after surgery when I finally figured out how Much sugar was in those and that what was causing my pains. Welcome! I am having bypass on the 19th. Thank you ... I'm anxious about it. Not very nervous just more excited to get my losing on. It's also the first time I will be leaving my girls overnight since they were born 2 1/2 years ago. How are you feeling about surgery? I went for pre op today, so I feel like its becoming real!
