  1. Good Morning! As I mentioned, I am terribly disappointed and confused. I had my bypass last August at a weight of 370. Today I weighed 317. I've been as low as 302. Since the very beginning, I never felt much restriction. In some cases, I can eat as much as I'd like. I drink my Water. I walk 5x a week. My diet could be cleaner, but it wasn't horrible until recently. I guess I started feeling sorry for myself and started eating crappy. Has anyone else had an issue with the amount of food they could eat? I read about people living off a golf ball sized amount of food - and at the moment that seems crazy to me! Also - does anyone have any suggestions? Have you personally or know someone who's experienced this situation? Thanks! Sean

    Coffee = Stall?

    Thanks folks - I appreciate everyone's input and it looks like coffee isn't the contributor! I carefully reviewed my intake records and I'm not doing anything I didn't before. I guess this is just the first stall!

    Coffee = Stall?

    Fully leaded. I hear ya - but I'll drink 72 oz of Water per day without breaking a sweat!
  4. Hi everyone. I'm 52 days in and down 44 lbs. However, my weight loss has stalled for the last 10 days. I've always consumed a fair amount of coffee, but admittedly I've had far more than usual over the last couple of weeks. I always get my Water. Protein always 80g +. Cals 1100 - 1300. Any ideas? 3 Wks / Pain Middle Right 3rd

    Good point. Doc says I will have minimal downtime. I sure hope so! With that being said, today I was virtually pain free. What gives? I'm glad - but confused.

    Well, things went the way some of you predicted. Classic gallbladder symptoms. Strong pain killers - ultrasound next week. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

    Fortunately I go to my surgeon tomorrow morning. I've tried to ignore it and thus far it's tolerable. But there are times that the area acts up. All that being said, that little nagging sensation hasn't gone away since last weekend. I imagine I'll get another hydrocodone script unless things start to worsen. I'll let y'all know!

    Actual hunger pains

    I have the same problem - I'm 3 weeks out. I've found that my hunger decreases when: 1) I avoid artificial sweetner, and, 2) I bulk up on the Protein. If I keep my protein above 80 and carbs below 40, hunger isn't a huge problem. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App

  11. Hi - I've had some intermittent pain in the middle of my torso - a third of the way in - right underneath my ribs. Never horrible but enough for me to notice. I'm 3 wks removed from my surgery. I've been 85 - 90% compliant with my meal plan. I do not overeat and chew everything to a pulp. Worst mess up was a cookie. Anyone out there experience similar issues (and please don't get self-righteous with me ). Thanks!
  12. I've taken omeprezopole for years (Barrett 's) and unfortunately I don't think this is MY issue. I think the Water (OVER doing it) and Protein is my best bet. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
  13. Hi. I'm finding that as my stomach heals, my hunger comes back 30 minutes after a meal. I'm getting 70-90 Protein. Help! Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
