Hey how is everyone doing? I JUST got my application in the mail the other day and have an appointment to meet with my doctor for a referal on March 27th! AAAHHH.. This will not be in time to get to that April seminar i'm afraid. Wow this is gonna be a long process :angry_smile: Anyway, just wanted to stop in and say hi and I hope all is well! -Lisa

Hello everyone! I was away on a cruise and was hoping to return to the application to get this process started. I still haven't gotten anything. I saw someone posted Dr. Hoffman's secretary's number. Would it be best to start with her? I originally just called the Buffalo General baratric number and someone named Brenda told me to just leave message on their vm and they would send out an application but i'm still waiting! I would love to at least get into the next seminar for next month! Any suggestions?

I am still waiting for the application It seems like it's gonna take forever just to get into a seminar! Ack! I am excited though seeing sooo much positive feedback about Dr. Hoffman. I'll be keeping ya'll posted and hope to one day be able to take part in that group! lol

So I've taken the first steps. I called BCBS WNY to ask if I had coverage, the woman was really nice and said I did with preauthrorization. Then I called and left a message to request an application. I know these are just VERY preliminary steps but it feels good none the less to have actually done something instead of just talking about it. Could anyone tell me how long the entire process took until you actually had surgery? I'm not expecting this to move quickly but I just wanted to get an idea.

Hi I'm in Buffalo too and am seriously considering doing this. I know there are three docs at Buff General, Posner, Hoffman, and Forbes.. has anyone heard that one is better than the other? Is it easier to get in to see one over the other? Thanks!
