    Low BMIers

My bmi was 33 I think - my stomach doesn't look great- shockingly my inner thighs have a little bit - I was surprised because my legs have always been the smallest thing on me. I personally think there isn't Much you can do to prevent.

I just did this today . I still have about 15 more pounds to go- and I am still sacred to actually throw them away. I've never kept weight off so it is scary to pull the plug

Do you ever feel like this is it?!

I am six months out- and I lost 3 pounds last month- so yeah I totally feel you. I don't eat correctly all the time but I am always under 1200 calories - which is what I am supposed to do - so that's annoying. I just can't get enough food by starting Protein first. I can get about one bite in before my stomach hurts. And one bite of roast for dinner doesn't seem good right? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    How did you decide

I was pushed to the edge when my cholesterol was high and I was about to have to get on meds- turns out 6 months after surgery my cholesterol actually WENT UP -and I am now on meds for that ( along with the mountain of vitamins) but still happy I did it Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. I think slow and steady is the answer . I don't think there are tricks or secrets... It's all pretty basic- Water Protein first - exercise. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    I'm having 2nd thoughts!

I was 212 5'4 and self pay too. Please don't let social situations deter you- I mean for the first few months - yes - but after that you just eat like a normal slim person! ( maybe a little less) it's amazing- food doesn't have the hold it once did! Which is the best most amazing part to me . Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Oh and by the way- I was one of the ones who regretted the crap out of this surgery... ( had severe nausea months 2 and 3) and now am so happy I did it Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Considering Gastric Sleeve

This surgery could be life changing for you.... But I would start seeing a therapist first.... The surgery can also cause a little depression with all the changes afterwards . Just make sure you are ready mentally. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  21. I didn't need to lose much more than that and I don't think my doctor is unethical or crooked to of performed my survey . How many people do you know that can lose that and keep it off? As you know the statistics are very against that- even those who just need to lose 50-60 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Nauseated by everything

I had severe nausea starting at week 7 I think? It lasted for 6 straight weeks- I basically went back to Clear liquids phase- it was horrible. I was very down and my surgeon just said it will eventually pass but that it was very abnormal. It was miserable. But it did oass Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. My surgeon allowed any foods at three weeks... But I found I couldn't eat meat until many weeks after that good luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
