I am just about 2 weeks post op and have been very emotional about food too. For me, it's because I feel denied what I want--my addiction--food. It's so hard but it does get better. I have the same issue. Surgery 06/30. Liquids has been pretty unpleasant. I have been trying different cream based Soups so I don't go nuts....but that can be tricky too because my stomach doesn't tolerate all cream based soups the same. 3 days til purée.
