i could definitely feel like there was a foreign object within my stomach the first three weeks. i described it as a little gremlin in my belly, haha. but now it's as if i don't feel it at all.. is that normal? especially this soon? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

that's my concern.. i hope i have taught myself a new lifestyle of healthy eating and once the balloon is removed not go back to my old, bad habits. my balloon was placed on july 7th.. as of today, i have lost 9lbs. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

exercising after balloon placement

thanks everyone! i have free access to the gym at our hospital, so i plan to start off with some slow cardio tomorrow. it's been quite awhile since i have done any serious working out anyway. just the thought of working up to more aggressive cardio and weight lifting concerned me a little.. but i will just work my way up and see. so glad to have found this community. like i said, i was the first for the dr i work with so this is new to all of us. just had my balloon placed july 7th! the experience hasn't been nearly as rough as i expected. i was one of two cases that were the first for the doctor i work with. we are now the second facility in MS to offer the orbera balloon. we are the guinea pigs, i guess you could say.. but can't complain when it is free! anyway, once i have more food intake and feel strong enough to exercise, im curious as to how it feels with the balloon? you can obviously feel there is something foreign within your stomach without much activity at all. is it extremely uncomfortable when you progress further into working out?
