Ate, drank, and was merry. All weekend long. Still limited in amounts. Still at a deficit. Gained 3 lbs of Water weight that will be gone by Thursday. Had a blast.

So, you wanted a sleeve to force a temporary diet? You had surgery for that? Seriously? -
Simmer in Water for 3 minutes. When you are dropping them in from a small bowl, use your spoon to swirl the water in the pan to create a vortex. Love poached.

Try on some smaller clothes and you will likely feel better. I am sure that you are losing size faster than the numbers may show. As for bread, you can work it in, but if you are looking for rapid weight loss, especially initially, lay off of the carbs. It takes the place of needed Protein, but a protein based low carb diet really does lead to faster weight loss.

I still haven't tried this. http://www.eatbanza.com These noodles are made from chickpeas so they are lower in carb and have good Protein. I've read they are really good.

Just watch the calories. It's got natural sugar. Might want to cut it with water like you would a juice.

Sleeved through Emory Bariatrics at the midtown hospital. The program was great and took my insurance. Their group is once each month. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Your weight loss should help alleviate your fatty liver. I've always been told that's the only treatment for fatty liver. It counts as a comorbidity for insurance purposes. Long term it can lead to scarring or chirrosis.

I think it had more calories than the others so I passed. I do get the bumble bee jalapeño tuna packets.

Do You Use Alcohol after Weight Loss Surgery?
sc101071 replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Food and Nutrition
I drink a couple whiskeys neat each night but keep my calories under 1000. I drank a lot of beer before surgery and probably had about 4 each night. I will drink beer on the weekend but slowly. I do get buzzed quicker. And I get a hangover if I have more than two. If I have more than two may gain a couple pounds but then catch back up with the loss a couple days later. I was pouring in the cayenne pepper by then for sure. Up to your tolerance. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

My mom died 8 years ago at age 57. Her organs were damaged from untreated sleep apnea and diabetes. It's one of the main reasons I jumped when I got coverage for the surgery. I want to see grandkids. Glad that you came around. Best of luck with your journey. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
