Fat burning mode bc the carbs are depleted. Usually get there with an Atkins type low carb diet. You'll notice darker urine. Ketones are released in the urine. A byproduct of the metabolic processes. Hence the name. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I jumped 8 lbs after the first visit, bc I did not know it counted as the first visit. I was actually told it was not counted toward my 3 month program... Lost 12 the next month. Did not hinder approval at all. -

I am at four weeks. I have found that I have about four consecutive days of losing and then three or four days of maintaining. I picture a rubber band getting stretched and then pulling in, over and over. I'll take it as long as it keeps moving forward. Congrats, and good luck. -
People with high blood pressure

My doctor did not want me to go back on my meds after surgery. I was taking 2 lisinopril per day. I am a month out and my blood pressure is great. Hope I never have to go back on. -
