Judy, The Designer vanilla protein whey is pretty good.. I use it blended with bananas, strawberries and a packet of carnation instant breakfast. I'll have to try the cholcolate one with penut butter and bananas...sounds good!

Daniellabee, I saw Dr Lelito on the 24th and had to take the same 370 question test....waaay too long and redundant! I walked in the office with one shoe one and one off because the strap broke on the drive there and I did'nt have a replacement pair ..plus my hair was a little disshoveled from the rain so I was lookin a hot mess! lol I go back the 8/14 to get my results.... hopefully I wont seem too *crazy* to him. :thumbup:

They're monitored pretty closely to keep out the spammers and to help people on the diet share ideas and recipes. Oh and the Dr over at Synergy does'nt like doing patients with BMIs over 48 or 50....my BMI is 69 so they are out of the question for me. ::wink2::

I just called Synergy Bariatrics to see what type of insurance they take and the billing person said they do accept Univera but you have to lose 5% total body mass. I'm also interested in BGH's program and with them you have to lose 5% as well.

Hi bugsbuni, I currently have BCBS of WNY which covers it but after this month I will no longer have it, and now I need to select another Insurance provider. Hopefully I can find one which covers the LapBand. What is Healthy NY? Thanks! :thumbup:

Cerrin, I also do the belly dancin videos... it reeaaally works out the midsection. I recorded the Shimmy exercises on FitTV. I do em about every other day. It's really working!

Why is it that you feel pain if you over eat? Is the food pushing against the band...making it painful?

I'm going to meet you guys out there too. I can't really do a lot of walking due to low back pain but I would like meet everyone. I finally was able to speak with Melissa today! It is very difficult to get through to that number! So she said they received my paperwork and that I was a candidate for the surgery. Unfortunantly she couldnt get me into the may seminar ...but I will be in it for June. I tried to get here *squeeze* me in for May but she said it was aaaalll booked and no one really drops out. Hi Everyone, I finally met the good Dr. Hoffman! He is very much passionate about the LAP band systems and is even offering the Realize (i'm going with the LAP). I gave my paperwork to my Dr and she's going to fill out what she needs and send it in.... now the waiting begins :cheers2:. Unfortunantly I wont be able to meet with you guys at Delaware...maybe next time!

You probably wont get this meessage in time but its Friday 7th at 10 am ...over at BGH. Someone from that office called me today while I was out. I think just to confirm the appointment. I hope to meet you there!

I have BC/BS and called them last week to see what I need to do. The Rep told me that the Doc would have to call in a referral for surgery. She also mentioned that there are strict criteria (which I already knew from their website). But she did give me the # to the Medical Dept to give to the Doc. She said that Medical would only speak with the Doctors. BigGurl

Make sure you are using the chopping blade and less ingredients... It won't blend if you over fill it... Have you ever been successful using it? It maybe a defective bullet.
