I have been banded for a year on the 4th of Feb. I have done really well. My starting weight was 293 an am now 234. Over this holiday season I have just had a very bad time, eating the wrong foods. Lots of sweets!!! I was down to 227 and gained a few pounds. I wanted to know if I was overeating would I have had some type of symptoms. If my pouch was getting bigger would I be noticing it some how. Recently it's been like I can eat alot more then I used to and I am scared that over the holidays I have stretched out my pouch. Today I have been wanting to eat all day and everything in sight!! All the food I eat goes down just fine nothing comes back up to indicate that the pouch if full. I have had 2 fills. I'm not sure if it's just time for another fill or if I have damaged something. I also had the stomach flu and was throwing up, could I have damaged the band from the flu? I am so totally confused and I'm a bit scared to go to my doctor if I have stretched out my pouch. Anyone have any help for me? Thanks

I had my lapband since 2-4-08, I had my first fill on 3-27-08. I had 2 ccs put in. I had some restriction at the beginning but now it seems that I can eat alot. I was wondering if it is too soon to have my second fill yet? Or is it time for another one? Is it normal to need two fills so close together?

1st fill after being banded---shoulder pain

I have been on liquids since my fill yesterday. Strange thing is when I drink something it seems to go away for a while. I know what you mean about the pain from the gall bladder, I had stones too had mine taken out Dec 2006. Will this shoulder pain eventually go away? -
I was banded on 2-4-08. I developed a rash all over my torso. The port incision is the worst, every other incision was effected as well. Went for my post op visit w/ surgeon and he advised me to use benedryl cream. Made the rash worse it spread over my body into red pimples very itchy. Went to dermotologist and was advised that I must have had an allergic reaction to something they used during surgery. They seem to think the iodine prep. I'm not too sure if I belive them seeing that I've had two prior surgeries and never had a problem like this before. The rash developed about 5 days after surgery. I am on an antibiotic cream, steriod cream and prednisone, hoping this will work. I was wondering if anyone else has gone through this, I'm very upset.:tongue2:

I told them I was allergic to latex they advised me that they didn't use anything with latex. And the dermatologist said that if it was latex it would have shown up sooner. I don't know who to believe any more.
