Oh purrrleaseee love who is hating NOBODY. if you think your going to lose 32lbs each month then your dumb cos u wont!! that womans picture is clearly not 3 weeks later shes fooling herself no1 else and giving others false hope who are maybe pre surgery and thinking they will lose that amount definitely after 1month. im no hater im in my own lane couldnt careless about anyone else darling im in my own lane doing VERY WELL BOO!!!!     After RNY gastric bypass surgery, there are two phases which are the "Weight Loss Phase" and the "Maintenance Phase". At around 7 months post-op, my weight loss came to an end and I naturally slid into the maintenance phase. @@Melanie89 said "Hi I am 16 weeks out lost 67lbs but weighed this morning and im up 3lbs like HOWWW?" There are probably 3 things at play here. 1. Holiday's are rough on weight loss. One tends to eat or drink too much and this can result in some weight gain. 2. You weight will fluctuate on a daily basis. I generally weigh myself first thing in the morning butt naked to obtain my lowest daily weight. My clothes and shoes can add 5 pounds to my weight. If I weigh myself after meals, that might add another couple pounds. Some women have issues with Water retention. Stress can also affect weight loss. 3. At 16 weeks post op, your meal volume has started to increase which gives you have an option. One thing to do now at this stage is to assess your Protein intake. Your protein requirement is met by a combination of the protein from your meals combined with the protein from your supplements (protein shakes, protein bars). Since your meal volume is beginning to increase, that also means that the amount of protein from meals is increasing, especially if you concentrate on consuming high protein meals. Therefore you could be able to reduce your reliance on supplements and the calories they contain. I went from 3 protein shakes a day, down to 2, then 1 and finally zero when my meal volume increased to 1 cup per meal at a year and a half. That is the method I used to break my stalls.   8. Hi I am 16 weeks out lost 67lbs but weighed this morning and im up 3lbs like HOWWW? Iv been eating lots of Protein sure i enjoyed myself on christmas day had 1 glass of wine and some baileys which was enough because i got sooo drunk. I ate my normal size dinner bit of meat bit of carbs and veg i had a spoon of pudding just for a little taste. i have been going to gym quite alot this week. iv bn eating well like what is going on. urrghhh I hate my body sometimes!!!     i did it for 2 weeks. hardest thing i ever did. didnt even cheat although i was convinced I would. showed me how much i wanted surgery and that i was willing to do anything to get it. i felt dizzy day 1-3 but i promise it gets easier after day 4. Drink loads of Water stay hydrated. after day 4 your so into it. try and stay focused because if you can't do the pre op diet then you will find it even harder after surgery.     Hey.thats cool. i do what works for me i eat between 800-1000 cals per day depends if i am training or not. i snack also on fruit or a yogurt and crackers with low fat cheese if i want. also i do have chocolate and im dropping weight like crazy. This journey is so so individual i do what works for me and what works for me isnt for some people. i know im on the right track because i am losing alot but its good to find out other peoples journey and what they do.     hey.yehh tiredness will pass although tomorrow is 13 weeks out and i still get tired and have to rest when i get home. but it wasnt likr that before. yeh 500 cals is probs what i was doing 6 weeks out or maybe less. because i go to the gym and excercise classes i eat a bit more so i have something to burn so yeh betwern 800-1000cals i eat im happy with that because im losing so much weight. everybody is different but im doing what works for me. this week i have lost 3.5lbs which had taken my total lose to 62.5lbs i am super happy!!!!     ahhh yh 400 cals is really low.i snack during the day like a yogurt or fruit mainly. i have Cereal for Breakfast with soya milk lunch i have a sandwich using super thin bread meat and salad inside dinner i have meat or fish with veggies or potatoes sometimes i have a super light dinner like crackers and low fat cheese. if im excercising i tend to eat more that day like 1000cals so i have something to burn. other days can be less. everyone is different though depends on thier tolerance x Sent from my SM-G935F using the BariatricPal App
