What kind of internet weirdness is going on?? It is taking LBT forever to load, and sometimes all I get is the 'new' tag in the upper right corner and a blank screen. Is my employer screwing with my computer? Or have my cooties inflitrated and infected it?

I have the same thing...and for a while I couldn't figure out why my few paltry tomatoes were all half-munched...now I know! I loved playing Barbies.

It is after 1am, I'm exhausted, so why am I awake??? ARGHH. I want to sleep. Go to sleep. Lovely sleep. Until then I will catch up on some of the PJTP activities: Yep. Somedays he drives me to madness, and then he does something like that. It's the small things that win me over - no bling or dinners out - coffee in bed or the cat litter scooped or something small like that and it's all good! Construction crew? You must have had a wonderfully clean grandmother's house to visit! BLECH! Almost enough to turn one's stomach to think about it! Great weight loss achievement! Don't start worrying about other procedures now. Just focus on living the bandster life- which of course is very easy for me to say and next to impossible to do recently! So...what was it?? Hi SLG! Glad your surgery went well. You know the routine for care, so at least that will be a little easier - although I doubt I could do the liquids only phase again! Where did he put your port? Why did he move that?

Morning all! Whoo hoo - progress. Only one eye is crusty this morning!! So I guess I will head to the office tomorrow - I'll have one more day to de-cootify my body before I return to public places. Then the weekend is going to be non-stop laundry - the pile of towels, pillowcases, facecloths is HUMUNGOUS! I get squeamish thinking of the fulminating germs....ick... I completely understand the cleaning surfaces - the challenge is to find the balance between sterile and healthy dirt! My mother used to travel with a bottle of lysol or dettol and cleaned hotel room bathrooms whenever she stayed in one; she used to go on cruises with a carryall of cleaners to sterilize her room, etc. She never got sick despite years of hotels, motels, cruise lines in all her travels. Sorry about you not getting the jobs; yes, something is out there for you. Patience. Thanks for the wishes; I was punching up and tweaking my resume and sending it out yesterday... Morning, Slim. I'm safe...but for how long??? No one told me that life was going to be this stressful when I was a youngster!!! But YAY for DS's report! YOu must be very proud. Thanks SLG. My eyes are starting to feel better but it took doubling the antibiotic and I've gone through a mountain of facecloths (used as compresses) and hand sanitizer. One of them I won the bid but it's a short sale so I have about 2 months before we hear if the bank appoved it or not. Now THAT was funny!!! The ex is a nice woman (hence why we have no issues going to each others homes, attending 'family' events with no anxiety/grief), she is just...a little odd. Oh well, far better than a relationship in which there is only daggers and hatred for the ex. The children certainly appreciate it, as do all other family.

PJTP - The regulars may remember me commenting that DH's ex is, well...a little different. Her Christmas gift to him included underwear (and yes, she still gives him gifts, and now gives me one as well); when we went to her place for dinner earlier this year, she still has their wedding picture up. Well, just now she sent him an email - "Under different circumstances, today would have been our wedding anniversary. Happy anniversary." I think this is weird.

Good day! My itchy burning crusty eyes kept me up until 430 this morning - that's gettin' up time, not going to bed time! Anyway, I was all confused. When I did get up I opted to work from home, and have been going full out - both with work work and baking. Remember my apple picking of last week? Well DH wants to go again this weekend so I was busy - a few apple pies; couple quarts of applesauce; a few dozen phyllo apple crisps; and another couple of apple loaves. Gotta make room for the next few bushels! I agree! :lol: ARGHHH!!! NO NO NO! That's great news, Kat! You've got a few things going on there, don't you? Keep your head down at work and gather info and document document document. Hope you got DD's tuition straightened out. I know all about needing a fill. Now that I am out of the 'blues' I am ravenous. But I'm not getting a fill until mid-October....nothing but limited willpower to keep me from eating and drinking everything! Plans sound great; I agree with your assessment of Beth's situation and her man-child. Love the puppy! Your mom is right! Absolutely agree. I am without speech. If she called me I think I would lose my soul - I would EXPLODE!! Same with DH and I. There is 'our relationship' money - that pays all bills, trips, etc and our individual money. I did! My crusty one eye is now crusty 2 eyes, and so I said 'screw work', went back to bed, and am only now getting up. It seems to me my eye is getting MORE inflamed, not less, but I will give the course of antibiotics its full time to work. And yes, it would be nice to meet the PJTP-ers, but I despair that a date will be set. Unfortunately, my vacation request for next year is due this month, and time's a-wastin! Apple spice cake...last of the 3 baked goods for this weekend. DH loves the sound of my kitchenaid mixing! DH reluctantly gave half the cake to the tenants, but if I didn't make up the trays to share with the tenants, he would eat the whole thing...and as he has gained weight, that wouldn't be wise. Just having an after dinner coffee then we are going to stroll (and I do mean a slow stroll - DH does NOT walk quickly nor see any reason to) to the river and feed the ducks. Pooly - I know about not doing much...my weekend to-do list is absolutely clean - not one item crossed off! Makes for a hectic week, but that's the price I pay for being a slug. Ktork - good for you on the 10K run. That's fabulous. Glad to hear that DS is ok...that must have been a very anxious time in the ER! Morning all! I'm just got to get through some of the things on my list today - none were accomplished yesterday! It took a few minutes to get my eye open this morning. My eye is now itching like crazy and I can't tell you how many facecloths, rolls of paper towels and kleenex I have gone through making hot compresses! Kat - enjoy ABQ KC-mushroom stuffed ravioli - yummmm Heart - hope things are going well.
