That sounds sensible to me.

Particularly as DH exclaims in ectasy "You know it is the REAL thing, not a commercially processed chemically enhanced sterilized pseudo-dulse when there are little seashells in it".
-
Dulse is a specific type of seaweed - I believe specific to the North Atlantic coastal nations. It is dried and (unlike as Luluc knows it), eaten dried as a snack...it is VERY VERY VERY salty and chewy. DH received some as a gift (he is from a small place in the North Atlantic where this is grown and savoured); he is portioning it out as his extra special treat for the holidays. He is welcome to it!

This morning 40 minutes of upper body strength and sculpting, 20 min on the wave. Hoping for a 30+ min walk tonight.
-
Yesterday B: 2 oz cheddar L: ff yogurt; 2 tangerines D: (staff dinner out)...baked cod with onions olives tomatoes, potatoes (skipped the appetizer, the wine, and dessert, but still think it was 2 days worth of calories)....
-
Man, your head hunger issues must be (dare I say it?) ...mind-blowing?!?!
-
PJTP - Dulse tastes terrible! BLECH!!
-
wearing? This isn't clothing optional? Damn.
-
But don't you want to 'own' your issue, and monitor your progress? You mean public humiliation isn't part of 'humor'????? So much for most comedy, video clips and youthful pranks. :tt2:
-
Yes indeedy, I concur!
-
Today upper body weights 30 min then elliptical for 25 minutes.

Dr Plain I do not think Anchorman is in the least funny, but that isn't a problem. In fact, that is probably a testimony to my sanity. However, I feel compelled to tell you that your waiting room has an interesting (dare I say somewhat frightening)collection of women (I notice the absence of men with some dismay), some of whom are carrying bags of clothespins and cheetos, while another woman is fondling a bag of what appears to be vegetables and another woman calmly sits with a bag of wriggling writhing snakes. I thought I was the only patient you had time or interest in seeing, but apparently you are in to group activities. Is there a group rate? Tap

Oh Fanny - I'm glad you weren't hurt. You are very fortunate, and obviously a clear thinker...I'd probably still be in the car frozen to the steering wheel! Surely to goodness another driver or two also chased the guy??
-
I guess I will just have to create another fb account so that I can join the 'cool' kids. I sent the snow special delivery to you Luluc. Staff christmas dinner tonight - egads, time with some people I wouldn't normally choose to socialize with. Good thing liquor is on the menu. fur coats/charred monkeys - ewwww. freezing rain - grrr. Walking to/from work is not gonna be an option I guess. hot coffee - ahhhh.

Yesterday B: a few mouthfuls of a cranberry smoothie S: 1 oz cheese L: 2 tangerines D: chicken breast; ff yogurt S: ff yogurt and a handful of almonds Today B: nothing L: 2 tangerines and a handful of peanuts D: 2 cups lima bean casserole S: ff pudding - X2

I keep looking for some of my old grade/middle/high school people, but not too many people in their 50's are there!
-
Whoo Hoo! Fanny remembers it too! DH swears I make up these things when I can remember all these little poems and ditties. So, did you play a game called YOGI growing up? (And it had nothing to do with a bear).
-
Now THAT'S an idea I think we should all embrace!! Luluc - ditto the puppy breath. Guinea pigs....not so much. Although I do think that mice are rather nice, their tails are long...anyone else remember that poem? Ceradad - only now learning the apple and Peanut Butter? It's cheese and celery though. Peanut butter on spanish onion slices though is good! Yeah Coloradochick - and to your chicklette? SnT - scared of dogs? How unfortunate. Dogs are great!
-
Today 30 min strength training; 20 killer minutes on the wave.
-
I added the stetson for dramatic effect. Is there such a thing as subtle hyperbole?
-
SNT - I know what you mean; Plain ignores me all the time! Global warming - let's not have that discussion. Al Gore - ditto Donna - great pic! Beth - images at 5am of Plain doing his bow-chicka dance somewhat disturbing...of course he is wearing a stetson and eating cheetohs too.
-
Obviously a typo...I meant, neither you (nor anyone) has to shovel COLD. Shovel snow - yes indeed as someone in Minnesota you would know about shovelling snow.
-
But, you don't have to shovel snow, Ceradad!

Everything is perspective...that was just the Saturday before 10am snowfall (about 4 inches) which isn't too much. It's when that was repeated several times throughout the weekend...and added to the snow already piled high, and with more to come... Sorry you're still sick.
