I was at the Y by 6 this morning. Did 30 min weight training (back, shoulders, triceps), and then only 21 min on the elliptical...for some reason, I just couldn't force myself - I had increased the tension and the speed...maybe too soon. LilMiss - WHEW!!! What a grinding schedule! Kudo's to you for keeping at it! Keep on checking in....let's inspire each other!

Wise advise! YAY SNT! Go back to bed. Lay down. REST!! There is no age limit on going to college! I went back as an adult; many people do. And once retirement comes, I hope to go back again! Say Donna, which cubicle are YOU in at my office? Surely there cannot be THAT many dullards in the world??? BAH HA HA Correct. Me too!!! And then take Beth's baseball bat to the box! Keep us posted on how things go, and the name of course! PJTP - Man oh man, miss 12 hours here and it takes forever to catch up! Happy Wednesday

With many bandsters, this is normal (there are a few other threads discussing this). I've learned to wear more layers as I refuse to turn up the thermostat!

25-30 min swimming fast crawl (I'm switching up the routine a bit; getting bored with the equipment) 35 min brisk walking

Yesterday B: Cho-Banana Protein shake L: ff Yogurt; Tomato soup; 2 tangerines D: 1/2 cturkey, 2 tbsp rice, 1/2c veggies S: 1 cup soy nuts (eeks, gotta watch the volume)

At the Y by 6, went swimming - did fast crawl until I was too pooped to continue (about 25 minutes). Walking 35 minutes after that. Mike - you are doing great! and you gave me an idea - tennis. Maybe I could take some tennis lessons - but then again, unless DH joined me, I would be playing by myself. I'm thinking of taking golf lessons in the spring - I think Im the only person I know who does not play golf, and I miss out on some possible social/networking as a result.

ARGHHH!!! When will the screen resize???? Tuesday morning, snow is falling, coffee is hot, Y was busy. Thinking I need to book a week somewhere warm, not too expensive, where I can eat well, have the opportunity to exercise (if I choose to), and thaw...any suggestions? Sadly, visiting my sis in San Diego is out - my mother is there until end of Feb/March, and that would NOT be a restful vacation.

Giggle giggle.... Never? That word is not in my vocabulary! Of course I am jealous of you that can do that, but alas, it is not I. With my skin, orange anything looks positively ghastly. Sure, rub it in! Trade ya - forecasting 3 more days of snow this week with only 'scant' accumulations (2-5" per day). Let us know when that is; would hate to accidently say the word...even in another context like 'poker chip', 'chip off the old block', chipping ice off the windshield...

I use the Wave at the Y. I switch the equipment I use every day or two so I don't get bored; I wouldn't buy a wave but only because I have the Y memebership and use it. If I didn't and could afford a home gym with lots of things, then maybe I would add this to the collection.

Well, if his usual behavior/attitude/personality are the problem, he can't maintain a 'best behavior' forever. Is this a one-time thing, or long-standing? Do you want him in your life or not? If ever I got to the point that I told DH to leave, it wouldn't be an idle statement, and would have been built over a long time. Then when said, I would mean it. If he didn't pack, I would pack for him, and change the locks.

Note to self: don't cross Susan tomorrow - tired, hungry and cranky! Forget the laundry - why do I think a 'FEW outfits' is a wardrobe full? I'm sure DH could throw in a few loads of laundry... Relax...it may be your last chance to do so for a long time...18 years or so! Sorry to hear you are sickly. Stay in bed, bond with your new friend, and don't spread the germs! Killing bees? Bees are our friends - pollination for flowers and crops and creators of that nector honey... I'm easing into work...a few emails, then pop into LBT, then repeat...
