Silly question: can you dye them? If yes, then the 'matching' issue would be addressed by merely dyeing them the appropriate color. PS: Plain, you are such a man (read with the appropriate tone)

Sadly, the phenomenon is widespread...fingernail gouged rolls of TP are everywhere! The manufacturer's leading competitor is the company that produces the teeny little individual folded rectangles of TP that spew forth from the holder in the hundreds rather than a sensible number. The excess are then either thrown in the toilet (causing it to plug), or are precariously balanced on the top of the dispenser only to hit the floor at the slightest movement... Baby wipes (although not economically nor environmentally sound) do the trick.

Another nice sunrise, it's Thursday, no rain for 7 count 'em 7 days, and a good morning swim at 6am....it's a great day!

Oh Plain, how can they be so mean? Your avatar displays for all to see your chiseled features and strong jaw line. By the display of neck bones, it suggests a toned buff body; the presence of scalp hair shows that you aren't bald; you don't have a mono-brow (perhaps that's my own little quirk - I dislike the mono-brow feature of some men); it reveals your dark piercing eyes....

Oh Plain, don't make me choke on my coffee!!

Have a great birthday, and enjoy your pampering - you deserve it! I'm sure you are keeping the v-mail messages she leaves, as well as keeping a log of all calls...given her reactions, she may in fact go too far, and you may have to get legal intervention (i.e. a court order) to keep her away. These documents and retained messages will be powerful proof of her stalking and harassing you/your husband. Take care - you are doing so well, and it is uplifting to sense your renewed confidence and positive outlook.

I know what you mean - I have had to all but banish nuts from my house. They are bought now only for baking. I just enjoy them WAY too much - and although healthy when eaten in moderation, scarfing down cup and after cup is not!
-
Hey, it sounds normal to me - although I will add, being so annoyed with others that I can't stand them!
-
Do you mean my parents had S E X? (spelled out and whispered) Nope, not possible. I was the result of immaculate conception, or stork delivery or alien invasion or something. Not my parents, never. No. No siree. Never.

I'm still trying to figure out the phone-toilet proximity issue. Unless it was on the edge of a counter and was accidently elbowed into the toilet? I have had days like that...but thankfully today is not one! (Tapshoes says hastily crossing her fingers)

What goals and rewards have you set for yourself?
tapshoes replied to kossde's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I had lots of mini-goal rewards. For every 10lbs, I treated myself to some books (reading is my thing). When I reach goal, an entire new wardrobe...until then, I am replacing articles but with cheap ones (I can't afford to spend a fortune on clothing only to wear them for 1 month). -
Congratulations Phil. Keep that same determination and focus along the journey - it is easy to become discouraged at different points, but keep going. The best IS yet to come!

Good luck with the low-carbing approach; it is not something I can do but I do know that it is successful for many. As for carrying lead in your pocket...if you put it in a stocking, it would make a good weapon with which to knock your doc unconscious, then grab the needle, and fill-er-up!!

Why am I still holding on to those clothes?
tapshoes replied to coolcrystal's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I can relate. This weekend I spent one morning putting on every single item of clothing and making a 'keep or donate' decision. I too got rid of quite a number of articles (2 green garbage bags, one huge box) but kept a few items (not counting a few suits that I have to get re-tailored). But why did I keep some of the blouses/skirts that were too big? I told myself it was because I would have very few articles of clothing suitable for the office so I needed to keep some and wear them 'a little loose'...but really, I don't think that is it. And it isn't because I love these particular items. I think my subconscious is saying I will need them again...how do I get the voices in my head to shut up???? -
For that matter Plain, how do we know you are you? Perhaps the change in avatar was the sub-conscious revealing that you (whoever you are) have taken over the 'Plain' ID....mwah ha ha (read sinisterly)

Why do clothing manufacturers believe that if you are 'round' (that is, fat), you also have gorilla-like arms dragging on the ground, and the legs of a basketball player? Just because I'm fat does not mean that my body parts are disproportionately long!!!:angry_smile:

Gorgeous sunrises are beautiful to observe.

Absolutely LOVE the pic! and your message is inspiring. Good luck with the hip replacement surgery - both the surgery and recovery should be easier with the weight gone. What a tremendous achievement!

HELP My mum found out i'm being banded need advice
tapshoes replied to noosagirl's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Noosagirl - how unfortunate that you are in this situation; I hope you find some strength in what others have posted. Although you may not want to deal with your mother, I think the bigger issue is why on earth your sister had to tell her anything. Exactly what (and who ) else does your sister tell people about you? -
I too cannot relate at all to the situation, but my heart does go out to those who are displaced. I'm sure your generosity will be appreciated; thank heavens there are people who think like you, and not everyone is an ignoramus!
-
WOW - 7 months, and the time really has gone quickly, hasn't it? Congratulations on your weight loss to date, and keep us posted on the TT plans. I am thinking of it (longingly), but that's a way off - both for the weight I have to lose, and the money to afford it. One goal at a time...
-
Congratulations!

I bet the lifegueard is as well - having that happen would just ruin his/her shift!:tt2:

Do you mean there is another way to live???
