Hey all I'm getting gastric sleeve on August 1st! Very excited, getting nervous. Pre-op appointment is this Friday where they'll tell me when to start my liquid diet, etc. Anyway, I wanted to let you all know that based on another thread, I've just created a Facebook support group for those of us in August, so that we can keep in touch and cheer each other on You'll just need to search on facebook to join - it's called "BP August 2016". Ok all, I've created a closed group on Facebook called "BP August 2016" so please do a search for it and you can join! A closed group means that anyone can search for it and see who's in it, but all posts are private. I've kept the group name vague and I won't write a description for those who are not comfortable openly sharing their journey with everyone on their Facebook (like me!). After we have enough members we can discuss maybe making the group entirely private, but that would mean we couldn't be found in a search and others would need to request to join in here, rather than on facebook.
