This has been a 6 month process for me and the time has gone by quickly. I8 years old and decided that I did not want to develop more serious healthy issues with my weight gain. I had plantar fasciitis and hurt my back exercising, so I was unable to really work out. The weight really came on and I KNEW I HAD TO DO SOMETHING. So I asked by doctor about the surgery. He gave me information and I took it from there.
I will be starting my liquid diet on Dec 28, 2016 and will have the surgery on Jan 11th 2017, I'm getting the sleeve..
I'm very nervous about the post-op but I understand that it will all be worth it in the end.
