Just depends on the week, I usually DVR em and catch up on the weekends. Idk if I can handle any more shows but if they are good, let me know. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

nickisleeve replied to Hopeful2016's topic in Insurance & Financing
Was your ht the same? The only way I know it would be higher is if u happened to get shorter. Or since u have to do the 3 months SWL then you would use 2016 and 2017..... Sorry I'm not much help. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
How do you know what weight you should be?
nickisleeve replied to alwtg's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
My dietician asked me what my personal goal was and then told me what the clinics goal was. Only off by 10 lbs. I said I'd love to be 135 they want me at 125. For my height I think it's doable, but I haven't been 125 since 10th grade Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

I don't know if it will help at all, I'm also in the beginning stages. I've decided to do light weights until surgery. I feel it will help out with the rapid weight loss and put me ahead of the game. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I received a packet in the mail today from my surgeons office. Which had new pt application, an arbitrary agreement, as well as estimate for surgery deposit. (Long sigh) I know it could be a lot worse. Seeing as some have to visit Mexico to pay way more than I. I'm very grateful that my insurance covers the procedure, now I just have to come up with ways to pay $489.00, plus the other things I have left to do. ( 3 more NUT visits, sleep study, EDG, chest X-ray. I'm super excited and nervous at the same time. It's starting to feel real. Especially since I will be mailing checks to my surgeon now. Hoping that the sleep study and EDG folks will let me make monthly payments. I guess the next big invoice will come from the hospital. This will be my Christmas gift to myself this year. Praying for the coins to start falling from the sky. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I hap to meet with my PCP not for insurance purposes but what my surgeon required. The weight loss clinic already did my labs so I had the results faxed over to my PCP. He only had to write a statement on a rx pad stating I was healthy enough to undergo wls surgery. I'm sorry ur PCP is being an ass. It should only matter if ur healthy enough for the surgery NOT if he agrees with it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Here's hoping that your life continues to be felled with joy and positivity. Consider taking some nice gifts for your hospital caregivers, too. Something tells me they are gonna earn them..... I needed that laugh, as well as an interpreter. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

In case you might want to know: Those aren't sugar free Popsicles.....no sugar added is very different than sugar free. Sugar free Popsicles have no carbs. The ones you show in the photo are made with fruit and fruit juice, so they have all the naturally occurring sugars and carbs; they just don't have any ADDITIONAL regular sugar added. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App Great tip. I guess it's better to read the labels. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
