I am 54 years old and live in Hattiesburg , Mississippi. I have been overweight since the third grade. Obesity is rampant in my family. I have always been able to gain weight easily and lose weight easily until I had my hysterectomy in June 2014. This was the downfall of my ability to lose weight. I have also suffered from more health issue since this procedure. At this time, I'm only able to perform my work as a nurse practitioner full-time and care for my family. There is no leisure involved in my life as I do not feel like doing anything. My feet have hurt ever since I had the surgery mentioned above. I have no energy and feel terrible. I am hoping for a new lease on life after the surgery. I see such wonderful success stories on the Internet and YouTube. I also see some frustrating stories of people gaining the weight back. This is very frightening to me. I feel like if I'm in communication with other people who have had surgery that it will be A support tool to help me not to fail and hopefully at the same time, help others. This surgery is not to make me beautiful. I am pretty much satisfied with my looks after all, I am a 54-year-old grandmother and I have been happily married for the past 33 years. I feel like this surgery is to save my life. God bless each and everyone of you on your journey.
