    Sex?

@@Candygyrl Hahahahahahahaha! No, it doesn't sound bad at all. TMI, but even when I'm in the mood, I have a hard time climaxing. It really starts to piss me off lol. It sucks because I'm only 30, I'm supposed to be in my prime or whatever they say. However, my PCP said if it didn't improve, he would prescribe something for me. I was offered hormones by my OB to help with the pre-menopausal symptoms, but I refuse to take them. My body has been through enough. I want to do this as naturally as possible. The good news is my one remaining ovary (which I'm praying to God does NOT need to be removed because it would kick me into full menopause) is still functioning and working, so that's awesome. I honestly feel bad for my fiancé because he doesn't understand how you can't have a libido, and it's so hard to try and even explain it to him. Then again, his is always through the roof; he's always for whatever, whenever lol. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App @@WLSResources/ClothingExch My anxiety wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I cried before going back to the holding area, but once they gave me anti-anxiety meds, I was feeling great, and I barely even remember anything after being brought into the OR. I gotta admit, the first 24 hrs were pretty brutal. The vomiting/nausea was awful, and they tried 4 different meds for it. The day after, it was a lot better, and now I just have awful acid reflux which I'm on meds for, and I know it's normal to suffer from it. So, would I do the surgery all over again? ABSOLUTELY! I'm not even a week out, and I already feel a huge difference. I guess there's other things my fiancé and I can do lol. But seriously, I'm definitely not feeling up to it just yet. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App Don't worry........you will most likely be tapping into a whole new level of animalistic urges as the weight falls off. Your fiancé may wake up think his member was used as a scratching post by the neighborhood cats. Rest up and recover. It'll be Game On soon enough. @@Dub I sure hope so! Regain after pre-op weigh ins?

@@loca_lette813 I wouldn't worry just yet. It could definitely *just* be water retention. Are you due for your period? I had a hysterectomy, buy during that time of the month, I was always 5-8 lbs heavier. It's insane what our bodies go through! Always remember to weigh yourself on the same scale and same time of the day too! Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App

  12. I feel like a huge baby, especially after reading other posts about people being hungry after surgery. I'm sorry if I sound like a huge baby, but this pre-op diet SUCKS!!!!???? My surgery is 7/25. I started my pre-op diet yesyetday. I'm allowed two Protein shakes a day (Breakfast and lunch) and 2 oz of lean meat, and 1 cup of veggies for dinner. I am seriously so hungry! I've drank so much Water today to try and not be so hungry, but it's not helping so much lol. Did anyone else have a difficult time during their pre-op diet? I gotta say though, my kid is freaking awesome! My 12 yr old daughter has decided to give up all sugar, sodas, Snacks, and unhealthy carbs during my pre-op phase; she's doing amazing! Then today, my stepson wanted to try it with us too. He said he loves it lol. Now all the kids want to eat healthier which makes me SO HAPPY!!! My fiancé has 3 kids, and I have 2, so in total we have 5. My fiancé fully supports my decision to have surgery, but he said from the beginning that he wouldn't want to change his diet with me, but he did today. He loves chips and dip, and instead of having that as a snack tonight, he had a yogurt and a banana which made me really happy. I also needed him to pick up a few things at the grocery store this evening, and he told me he had ice cream sandwiches, but decided to put them back. I am so unbelievably thankful for the support I have, and that's just at home. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App
  13. My nut said that gummy multivitamins do not contain Iron and that I would need to take a separate iron supplement. Apparently it is not chemically possible for gummies to contain iron. I didn't want another Vitamin so I've opted for a regular chewable that has iron. @@SwampBillies I bought a huge bottle of the gummy multivitamins too. Before returning them, I'm going to ask my surgeon if they're allowed. My NUT recommended them, so I'm guessing it's okay? I don't know.. I guess it depends on the surgeon. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App @@SwampBillies I'll definitely be praying you'll be able to be sleeved at the time of surgery. At first, I wanted lap band surgery, but after talking to my surgeon, he said he really doesn't perform them because although it is the least invasive, it has a high complication rate and not a high success rate. Did you lose weight with the band? Congrats on your 9 lb loss! I haven't weighed myself because I'm scared I'll get discouraged. 15. I'm scheduled for July 25th for my gastric sleeve. Is anyone else scheduled for the 25th and/or near there? My question(s) tonight is-- for those who have already had the surgery done and/or are one the clear diet, what did you consume? My surgeon requires being on a 48 hr clear diet before surgery. I know I could have Jello, chicken broth, cranberry/apple juice, basically anything clear. Does anyone have suggestions of other things I can consume? What I really need suggestions for is my post-op diet. What are the best things to consume post-op that are filled with Protein? How long was it until you could even try a solid? I know everyone is different, and responds differently to foods, but I'd love to hear from others. I met with the nutritionist, but she didn't go over much regarding post-op other than I should be taking sips of Water every 15 minutes. Thank you in advance! -Laura P.S. I'm new to this site, and I'm still learning to use this app. This may sound like a silly question, but how do I check my private messages? Someone messaged me last night, and now I can't find it to respond lol. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App
  16. @@Mudgy6 Ohhhh....lol. I was told not to start Vitamins until a week after my surgery. I didn't even know you could use vitamin patches. I'll definitely have to look into them. I bought gummies and sublingual vitamins pre-op. Patches make more sense though. I'd definitely give a call to your surgeon and ask if you can start them. 18. It's definitely a personal choice. For me, I'm choosing to keep it private. Only my fiancé, siblings, and two close friends (one who has had bariatric surgery) know. I'm a very private person, and don't want the negativity and unnecessary comments that can be very cruel. Some people are open books and share with everyone. As I said, it's a very personal choice, so think about down the road too. My one friend told everyone and now regrets it. She's 7 yrs post-op and to many people, she's still the "girl who got weightloss surgery." It doesn't define you as an individual. Sent from my SM-N910P using the BariatricPal App
