I've been yo-yo dieting since I was ten years old. I literally found a drawing in one of my journals at age ten with a picture of a bulging belly vs a flat one with writing above it with specific diet guidelines I would follow. It's been a really hard road for me, I was bullied in high school and had next to no friends, causing me to eat for comfort. I've gained and lost hundreds of pounds at this point.
My highest weight hit 290 and I knew I needed to do something. I was so tired of feeling weird and wrong in clothes, having anxiety attacks in roller coaster or airplane seats, not going swimming with my nieces because of how I look despite loving swimming, and just generally hiding myself because of how gross I fell. 
So I started researching Bariatric Surgery and was scheduled last year in August, but my mom begged me not to, worried that I was going to die on the operating table. 
I'm out of the house and newly married now and am currently saving up for the surgery  with my super supportive husband looking towards a healthier future before we start having our own family. I'm starting my journey now so I'll be in habits by the time I have the surgery in October.
