What happens if I eat something like rice and Beans or Mashed potatoes being 7 days post op. ? Will I puke it up or would they're be other consequences? So I'm so hungry I'm sick of Protein shakes I'm starting to regret my choice of getting this surgery I hope this is just a phase and will pass. I'm 4 days post op. I just want food ! I get that I can't have chips and pizza but I'll settle for some Spanish Soup and rice and Beans or even Mashed potatoes. So I had my surgery Thursday went home Saturday, the pain has stopped in my stomache and I've been able to finally pass gas .. but since last night my stomache has Been hurting I feel extremely neasus and I'm shaking. I can't drink anything I know I'm supposed to have I blv 65 grams of Protein a day but I'm barley getting 15. It takes me 2 days to drink one pre made shake. I just want to sleep all day so I can stop feeling sick. I'm very lightheaded as well. Hi everyone ! Okay so my surgeon told me to drink 2 shakes a day and then eat a Protein supper. I was only able to get enough shakes for one a day and I been eating twice a day. I haven't gained weight but I'm scared I didn't shrink my liver enough.. has this happened to anyone? Being denied surgery because not following the 2 week liquid diet. Maybe .. I never even thought to ask them :/ plus it's too late now my surgery is in 4 days. Hope they don't ask me about it either.
