  1. I'm having some trouble with finding different foods to eat. I tend to eat the same items...grilled chicken, egg salad or scrambled eggs, cheese, yogurt, Peanut Butter... I think it's because I'm limiting myself the the foods that I actually like from the sheet my surgeons office gave me. I'm not sure where to start expanding what I eat. What are you guys eating when you go out to eat and for dinners/lunches at home? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. Yes, yes and yes-I've been feeling the EXACT same way on all of your points! Couldn't have said it better myself. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I am currently supposed to take (3) Flintstones Chewables with Iron and (2) Calcium Chewable supplements per day. My surgery date was 6/27. They have me going for blood work in 2 weeks for a Nutritional Panel and will adjust my supplements as needed at that time. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. My surgery was the 27th, I am supposed to be getting in 60-80g of Protein daily through liquids. I was able to start protein supplements the day after surgery. My post op follow up is tomorrow and they will likely be advancing me to soft food/puréed food. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. How often are you all required to see your surgeon for visits post op? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. My family is having a big cookout tomorrow. Kind of dreading it. I'm just craving being able to chew something with texture instead of drinking all the time. Going to be tough but I'll make it through. Good luck to you all as well for the holiday weekend! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Got sleeved on Monday (6/27) and also had a hiatal hernia repair. It gets a little better each day. Monday was rough--the anesthesia and the morphine didn't agree with me which resulted in me throwing up and dry heaving several times on Monday which was SO painful. I've been in and out of the regret stage, wondering why I did this to myself. But it gets a little better everyday. The pain from the gas they used during surgery that was trapped was very painful but it is slowly going away. I'm sure once things get more "normal" and results start to show and I can transition to soft foods it will continue to get better each day. Starting back on chewable vitamins and my anxiety med today (which is a capsule that can't be crushed or opened so I was instructed to continue to take it normally). I'm nervous about introducing non-liquids like the pills. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
