She had a stent put in yesterday. She is very ill, and she is vomiting a bit. Yesterday she puked like 3-5 times an hour. Today she had Water for the first time in 18 days. She feels like it helps a little, but she still pukes a few times, but less then yesterday Her leak is soo small. They went in though her mouth to put in the stent, and they saw the leak. But it was so small, and they couldent even blow air out of the leak. So its tiny. Hey there.. I see you had a stent inserted. My girlfriend just had hers placed yeaterday, and she has been throwing up like every other 1h. You said that it dident give you much trouble? Did you vomit or anything the first few days ? Please help responding. Heay i read that you had a stent put in. When you say it hurt everyday, is it the chest pain you are talking about ? Hey everyone in here. Im not the one that had an gastric sleeve. My girlfriend had a leak (micro) or (pinpoint) leak, 9 days after a Gastric Sleeve surgery. They cant find the leak, but a little bit of liquid had come out and gave her an abscess, but thats healed and gone. She has been on the hospital now for 16 days, where she was on sonde food (liquid/food) through her vains. They had hoped the leak had closed by it self, but its not. So they decided to do a stent today for 6 weeks. So my question here is.. Her doctor said that, the first few days can hurt alot, cuz the stend is still adjusting the stomach. But everyone says it hurts all the time, and they puk and cant eat anything.. Is that the scare stories? Is it really true that there is no good Stent Placement stories to share ? Hey everyone. My girlfriend was diagnosed with a leak (micro leak) right after the operation. She has been on liquid/food on a tube here on the hospital for 14 days now. Tomorrow they will do a new liquid test to see if she still has the leak. My question is: Has anybody ben operated, and before they left the hospital, they where diagnosed with a leak?? Ya i know. I havent heard about it either. But they saythat the leak is so small, that it will heal on it self. Plus the leak is at a place where the Fluid fosent run out in any place to hurt her. Ok then thats proberly what she has.. They said that they thought it was weird that she had a leak, cuz of how she feels and looks.. No vomit or fever. So they found out that the leak, is lwaking micro and out to NO organs whats so ever. So when she did the pill that turns everything blue. They where waiting to see if it came out of the drain. Hey everyone. Im new in here. Im looking for answers to a few things. My girlfriend her her Gastric Sleeve operation in Greece the 31/05 - 2016. Everything went well, and she was up and walking around within 2-3 days. We then went home and she started loosing weight and everything was good. Then 9 days post surgery, she started having left shoulder pains. Then we rushed to ER with 40.2 celcious fever. They admited her, and they did a xray, and they dident see much. Then the day after they thought it was a leak or an abscess. So the CT scan was right. She had an abscess close to the liver. They drained it, and they did a "air test" and there was no leak. Then she was on hospital for 7 days, only on a feeding tube. 3 days ago they did a swallow test and it showed a little liquid out of the stomach. So they put her on feeding tube again. They say its micro problem, and the leak should heal up by it self. So my question to everyone. I seem to only hear all the bad "took 20 surgerys and 8 weeks on the hospital" stories.. There must be success stories.. Bring em on!! I need something to smile at Btw her infection (CRP) numbers where 379. Now they are almost normal.. She is around 20 now. A bit of infection on her tonge.. Guess that needs to be fixed before her numbers are all good

When you say you had a pinpoint leak, is that a leak where they think its so small it eill repair it self ? My girlfriend had har operation. A gastric sleeve, and she where rushed to the hospital 9 days post op. And she had a abscess close to the liver. She totally drained it and they did a swallow test. It showed a very very small leak, that was next to the drain. But nothing came out in the drain. So they keept her on iv and liquid/food through her artery in the neck. Its second week, and she is having a new swallow test on tuesday.. I ptay for her leak is gone. She is in no pain or anything. Her infection numbers are close to normal..
