That's good. Probably best that way. I'm so excited for you. I have gone back and forth between which surgery is best for me...and finally decided the sleeve will be best for me. It was super easy. The doctor just wants to make sure you are in the right frame of mind for this to be a successful process. And that you can psychologically handle the outcome of the weight loss. I'm right with you all. Still waiting for my last few tests before they send it off to insurance. I'm so impatient...but someone told me to take this time to mentally prepare for the new part of my journey. I'm just wanting to get to it already. I have been doing research on the bypass for years...but decided the sleeve was best for me due to lower risks of malabsorption and deficiencies. I'm super excited about it moving along though. Getting everything going to submit to insurance. I've done the psych eval and given all my info to insurance girl at doctors office. Have to get X-rays and sleep study done and then labs.
