Wheew. Its a lil wet feeling in the corner thats red but yayy no fever. Im hoping its just irritated. Thank u for your reply. My hubby is a fireman/medic and said the same thing lol. But i dont listen to him. I want to listen to u guys!!!! Haha. Im hopin irritated. The i cision is right where my shorts/pants go so it gets rubbed a bit. Ahhhhhh. THANKS! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App It looks to me like it got irritated, as you said, it is on your pants line. I would put some neosporin type cream on it and cover it while you have pants on or wear a dress or something that will not rub it.Not trying to argue but i was told not to use Neosporin. I had an allergic reaction to the steri-strips after surgery which caused huge blisters and left massive scars. I asked if I could use Neosporin and was told not to because it will slow down the healing process. I was told to make sure I kept the incisions dry. You may want to get a nonstick bandage to wear over it so it doesn't rub. I'm sure every Dr. has different advice so before using anything I would call the nurse and ask. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I appreciate the input. Ill hold off on the neo and just keep it dry. Makes sense Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I've seen posts like this b4 n couldn't use the link either. Always wondered if it was a scam or something. Maybe this app wont let us follow links?Good for you on slowing down on weighing yourself. I feel like at this stage we are following program, for sure our pouch is restricting and our bodies are gonna do what they are gonna do. We are bound to go down and not up. It'll make you crazy to compare to other peeps cuz we r all gonna hit that plateau differently. It is fun to weigh once in a while though. Have you taken measurements? I did b4 surgery...I need to re measure n take some after photos. That will be fun to see too. You are doing great...keep on keepin on! Sent from my VS990 using the BariatricPal App Thanks girl. Great idea to take measurements!!! I know my clothes are a lot looser and instead of xl shirt (it swallows me now) im in a large!!! Slow and steady wins the race. So proud of u Deb!!! We got this. That's great! Who was your surgeon? Was it done as outpatient? Mine will be done as outpatient and that's why I'm asking. My wife will be asking for FML to care for me. Based on your experience, how many days should she stay with me, if at all. I don't want her to miss too much work as we need the money. Thank you so much in advance. I had my surg in san antonio tx. My surgeon was dr Alvarez. It was a breeze. I was only in the hospital 2 days. My hubby stayed with me. I had my revision surg on a tuesday and went to work the following monday with zero issues. I needed help from my hubby for abt 4 days. Thats it! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I couldnt agree with you more. I had my band since 2007. I had my revision surgery removing the band and revising to sleeve on 7/26/16 and its the best decision ive ever made. It is amazing being able To eat little yet anything healthy you want without worrying about it coming back up. Or being unable To talk due to sliming...so so happy now. Totally worth it!!!!! Hey sisters. Just got back from my post op appointment. It went great. I am 8 lbs down. He said the weight loss should pick up around 3 weeks post surgery because during thenfirst 3 weeks ur body is focused on healing after major surgery. After that time it kicks into gear on weight loss. Yayy. And i get to start my oureed diet. Im SO EXCITED!!!!!! so glad everyones doing great. Picked up my vitamins. He said i can take them as tolerated now and ease into the amt i need. One thing i need to do is stay off the scale three times a day lol. Im gonna try to weight once or twice a week. We will see if i can actually do that. Hahaha. He said during my sirgery they really contemplated just removing my lap band and doing sleeve in a later surgery due to it had slipped, caused a hernia he had to repair. But they ouffed up my stomach after and it looked great so they proceeded. Omg inwould have been soooo upset if they hadnt sleeved me. I know its for my own good but inselfishly want to get the show on the road and get rid of this big ol butt. Lol. Have a great week yall. Im gonna eat me some yogurt.
