HI! Tracy, DD was sick at the beginning of last week then I had it by the end of the week and now I think we're both fine. She went to preschool this week. They're off next week for "Fall Break" and we'll see if we get sick again! It's her first year so it's going to be one of 'those' years!!! Cindy, sorry about DS! Poor guy! Hope he heals well and soon! Jenn, you're my hero! Cuddos to you for doing all this yourself! My DH is pretty handy but unfortunately he doesn't have a lot of time so we have a lot of half finished projects. It gets old! :scared2: Shalee, I'm right there with you. Every time DH says, "I can make that!" I just gasp in horror and roll my eyes. We've been married almost 22 yrs so we can joke like that. He knows how I'm going to react! Suzie, the washing machine is haunted! LOL! That would freak me out a little!! Mom, how are you doing tonight? What'd your doc say? Thanks for the info on the Aloe. That's good to know! Must be the week for baking. I baked a loaf of bread last night. I never bake!!! It tries my patience. I'm much better at cooking. It's a lot more fun for me. I've also been wanting to bake some cookies or something. Again, totally out of character for me! Must be b/c winter is coming! :w00t: Had a rough morning w/car problems. Tried to leave to take DD to school and the brakes on my truck locked up every time I stepped on them. I supposedly have ANTI-lock brakes! Not good! So had to take the car that didn't want to start for me on Tuesday but then started right up for DH when he came to help 1/2 an hour later! Don't trust it now so left it running while I took DD inside for class. Then promptly drove to the station to switch vehicles w/DH. I left him the problem starting car, since it seems to like him and took his truck! I am NOT having a good week with vehicles!!! Hope everyone has a great Friday! 'Night!

Yep, but that's also why my entire house is torn up and each project only half finished! I'm bad tho, I box it up to move, unbox what I need immediately then leave the rest in boxes in storage! I must go thru the boxes!! I've still got boxes from when we moved over 12 years ago!!! And I added more boxes from when we moved over 6 years ago!!!!! I need a fairy that will go thru the boxes for me, magically keep what I want and deal with the rest. <sigh> Haven't found one of those yet tho! Still looking. Best wishes on your presentation today! I'm too much of an introvert. Can't deal with that. Well, maybe just having a camera if I can turn off the fact that a LOT of people will be seeing it but the whole standing up in front of people makes me want to either throw up or pass out. ~~~~~ Crappy morning already and the day is barely started! DH headed to work and DD was awake EARLY. I'm still "sleeping" so she goes potty, brushes her teeth and gets dressed. She crawls on the bed and climbs in b/c she cold. I get up to take a shower and when I get out, DD is SNORING!!!! So I gotta get her up again so we can get her to school! Well, trying to re-wake her up was a bear! So we're running late, school starts at 9 and that's when we're heading out the door. Granted this is preschool and the first 15 minutes is free play but still, this is supposedly setting a precedence for school later and we're not doing so good with the "on time" part! So I get us in the truck, turn it around and head out the driveway, put the brakes on and the tires lock up and we slide in the driveway! It's long and flat and gravel so it's not like we're going anywhere but I'm tearing up the driveway at this point. So I back up and put it back in drive to try again. Brakes lock up and we slide again. WTH??? Do this a few more times and it seems to be working right so head out to the road. Get to the top and everything is locking up and making noise! I turn around and get us back in to the driveway. Crawling so that when I stop the truck we don't lock up and slide into the garage door. THAT would have been bad! DD is crying at this point b/c she has now decided that she MUST go to school, when earlier she couldn't possible go!!!! UGH! So I get us out of the truck and head to the car. I had driven it on Tuesday to pick her up from school and when we went to leave, it wouldn't start! DH shows up 1/2 an hour later to help and when he gets in and turns the key, starts right up! So now I'm afraid to trust the car! So I have DD stand by the car b/c I'm not getting her in the carseat, to then not have the car start and have to get her out again. This is an '87 Toyota Camry and it's TINY. It's a PITA to getting in and out of this thing! Anyway. It starts, so I get her in the car and we head to school. Got there in time for clean-up before circle time started. Oh and I left the car running while I took DD inside!!! Call DH b/c now I'm wanting HIS truck and it's at the station but I need his help to get the carseat out of the car and in the truck. It's a PITA too. It's an extra cab pick up but it doesn't have the extra doors. You have to move the front seat forward and climb in/over. Getting DD in isn't a problem AFTER you finally get the carseat in!! Anyway, get up there so DH can fight with putting the carseat in the truck. Got that taken care of. Have a potluck meeting tonight in the city (an hour away) that DD and I were going to (and taking all the burger fixings for) but had to back out now. Even tho DH's truck runs/works just fine, I seem to be having issues with vehicles this week and I don't want to get stuck somewhere, at night, with a 3 year old!! Oh and I've got to call the shop and see if we can get the truck in for them to look at it. It's got anti-lock brakes so when the brakes lock up, the system is making noise b/c it's not happy. Anyway, I sure as hell hope this day gets better!!! Hope everyone else has a WONDERFUL day!!! BBL!

There is ALWAYS way more stuff than you think!! "Stuff" is worse than bunny rabbits at multiplying!!! Glad to hear it all went well. Post when you can, I'm sure you're exhausted but wanting to get settled!! I promise, taking it easy with the re-fills!! Sorry it's been so slow for you at work. Sucks that you have to take the time off. Miss you when you're gone! Give Tug a big ol' hug for me!! ~~~~~ Not much going on here. DH built DD a new bed yesterday and she's loving it. When DD got too tall for her crib we just took the movable siderail off and she's been sleeping in that for the last couple of years. Yes, that means she was out of a "crib" so to speak at about a year old!! Anyway, the thing is not that stable with it's fourth side missing. Not dangerous by any means but we kept having to tighten the screws again b/c of the flexing of the whole thing. The other problem is no one makes bedding sets to fit a crib mattress. Yes, I know you aren't supposed to use sets for CRIBS but for crying out loud, when they're toddlers it's OKAY!! And b/c of the sides left on the bed it's hard to tuck things in and keep it tucked in so every single night I practically had to remake the bed. NUTS! DH essentially built a platform bed for DD. Frame, legs, plywood top. Easy! So we bought her a big girl pillow and a flannel sheet set (twin size) and I'll be able to tuck it all in! It's already working great with the blankets and she is loving her "big girl" bed. Her words. She doesn't want her crib back at all! I'll get the new sheets washed and on her bed in the next day or 2. She likes our bed and it's b/c of the sheets. She always talks about how good it feels! So now she has her own! Eventually she'll go into a double bed that we have in the guest room but that's still a couple of years down the road. Hope everyone has a good Thursday! 'Night!!

Welcome!! I'd say a slight unfill as well. Call your doc. WTG!! Are you hanging in okay? Miss you! Awww, see? I am needed! LOL!!! Sounds like you've got a mess! Sorry. Hope the rain stops soon! I'm sorry you're still sick! Try to take good care of yourself! Hope you feel better soon. Yep. You ALWAYS know when it starts raining when you're in a trailer! No matter how light the rain. Oh and b/c we were under OAK trees, any winds and we had ACORNS falling on our heads! So sometimes it sounded like it was pouring but there wasn't a cloud in the sky!!! LOL!! Oh wow! Glad you're feeling better but it might be a good idea to take it easy with the type of food for awhile. You were really tight and everything is probably still irritated. Probably a good idea to still call your doc and ask his/her advice. Or keep your appt and ask him there. Take care and be careful! Oh and what does the Aloe do? Haven't heard of that one. I have the papaya enzymes and use those even when not stuck. Especially if I eat meat, just helps w/digestion in general. Oh no! I am so sorry! Lots of hugs and prayers. They are doing amazing things with meds nowadays. I'm hoping she can be helped and SOON!! Thank GOD for good insurance! I hope her DH can wrap his head around this soon. She needs his help and support and him putting on the blinders is NOT helping! I'll put that in my prayers too. Glad your DD has her SIL around! Take care and keep us posted! ~~~~~ Have a great night y'all!
-
Morning! Well, it's afternoon here, probably evening where you are! <sigh> I'm always late. Sorry your game sucked! I'm so sorry for Heather. My prayers and thoughts go out to her. I can't believe her baby is a few months old already!! Where does the time go? HI SLIM!!!! It is different. I keep posting b/c I've discovered that I need too even tho everything has changed so much. Hang in there and PM me if you need too. Hugs! That's okay, Suzy. We miss you tho. Best wishes on your interview. I couldn't work at Target. I'd owe them money even after being paid! Oh Ebony, I'm so sorry! I was really hoping for this one. <gasp!> It's KC!!! WHOO HOO!!! How ARE you?!!!! Missed ya, girlfriend!!
-
Oh Ebony, I'm so sorry you had such a horrid day! I hope your evening was MUCH better! Congrats on the dress! Yea, I was invited to join soon after the DRAMA and I was in flux so now I post there too. Nice people over there. Still getting to know folks. Won't leave here tho, still my home base! It's pretty cool when you get to see the critters but it's a little startling sometimes. For the most part, if you use your head, things are good. :w00t:  Well, please tell the honoree that said person is missed!!! ~~~~~ Okay, I need to build an Ark! LOL!! It's still pouring and last I looked, about mid-afternoon, rain gauge was showing 2 inches and filling fast! It'll be interesting to see how full it is by morning. It'll also be interesting to see if we have any branches and/or trees down in the AM. It is VERY windy and we are getting some pretty BIG gusts too. Glad DH is home. I don't get as nervous when he's home b/c if something happens, he's home to deal with it and I don't! I don't mind the wind so much during the day b/c I can see what's going on, at night, I can only hear it! Well, I'm losing battery power. Better close up shop and get plugged in. Headed to bed soon. 'Night y'all!
-
Jenn, glad to hear that you're feeling better. ~~~~~ Still raining tonight. Last I looked, which was mid-afternoon, we had 2 inches of rain. I'm sure we're at least up to 3 now. It's still pouring! We really need the rain. It's super windy too and that always makes me nervous after dark b/c I can't SEE what's going on, only HEAR it! LOL! Luckily DH is home so I don't have to worry too much. With all this rain and the heavy winds/gusts, there will probably be trees going down. Just praying the house stays intact! It was funny tho 'cause DH was commenting earlier that he was glad we weren't in the trailer anymore! For the first 10 years we were together we rented a mobile home, single-wide, ancient thing. It was great in the summer b/c it sat under a full coverage of trees but winter storms were a little scary! We were surrounded by oak trees and the type we had are notorious for breaking parts off and falling. We never lost any but it always made for a nervous night. Headed to bed soon. 'Night!!
-
Tina, congratulations on the walk! Yikes on the fundraising! Okay, so your ex must have gotten a lawyer b/c that is just so typical! See what the other one has and go for at least 1/2 of it in spite of what was previously agreed too. JERK! And I don't see how, since you're the one he stepped out on, he can get ANYTHING!!!! He's the one that started all of this crap! UGH!!!! As always, best wishes to you and lots of hugs!
-
Fanny, you did an AMAZING job!!!! Looks like a totally different house! WTG!!! How's that fill treating you? You doin' okay now? I miss Slim too! I didn't pick up the scat, it can stay out there! It's out back where we aren't very often. I don't pick up critter poop unless it's a hinderance to us and it normally ISN'T! Oh and he was back last to to knock the can over. Nothing in it b/c he'd already eaten all of it but I guess he thought he should check anyway! Yep, a REAL bear! LOL! Ya gotta remember that I live in the mountains! We have all kinds of critters here. 'Course I'd be a fish out of water where you live! Can't imagine! Love to see your area but then I always want to come home again. How are you today?! Yep, I got it! I have to say that I prefer the "pure" newfs too. Tho I would rescue a mix, if I'm going to get a "Newf" he's going to be black or brown/bronze. Mmmm, homemade soup! Yummm! IF you have a game, hope it's a good one! ~~~~~ Saw my doc yesterday. He gave me back .5. Thought about doing the whole 1 but since I keep having to go back for unfills and I was in a good spot BEFORE the last one, we'll put the other .5 back next month. I'll have to check back later. Need to go get DD from school. TTFN!

Laura, I'm so sorry about your struggles w/your asthma. I have Exercised Induced Asthma but I just have slight emergencies. Nothing like what you describe. I can't imagine. As far as the exercise stuff goes, sounds like that would be a good plan for you, if it can work out well. Hopefully it doesn't cause you to exercise LESS b/c nobody is around. As far as H1N1, we will be getting DD vaccinated when our office gets the shots in. She's only 3 and is in a high risk group. On a professional site that I'm on we just had a prayer request for the family of a 5yr old who got sick on a Friday and was dead by that Monday. So sad. I don't know yet that I will be vaccinated. I don't know if there is a shortage and I would want others w/more serious conditions to be able to get it. Thank you for posting. I hope you are doing well now. Check in more often! Take care!

I LOVE THIS WEATHER!!!!! Okay, just sayin'. It's raining, well right now it's pouring, and the little old man is snoring! LOL! He went to bed w/a bump on his head and couldn't get up in the morning! :wink5: Yes, but yours have more teeth than ours do and they can sneak up on you faster than ours do too! (Kinda like people can't imagine living here w/earthquakes and fires but we can't imagine living w/tornados or hurricanes or flooding. Crazy huh?) Suzie, that was me. I loved Curves when I was going years ago but now I can't afford it, and when DH is gone, no child care for DD. I love living here. The only other places I could see myself living are very much like here, Lake Tahoe, Alaska, parts of Oregon and Washington... mountains, forests, water. Welcome, Sunny!!!! I'm new to this thread too. I've struggled all year since my banding as well. Just when things are going well, I get stuck- need a complete unfill, I get sick or too tight- need an unfill, etc. Or my brain gets in the way and I start snacking again, so essentially eat around my band. It's all good tho. Even on my worst eating days now, they're still better than my best eating days before the band! I've still managed to lose weight and that would NOT have happened pre-band. Hang in there. We're here for you! You're very welcome! LOL! He was back again last night but he already ATE everything so the can is just knocked over. It's WINDY here so I need to get out in the rain and pick it up before it blows all over the mountain-side. And I can't imagine living in the city! Too many people! LOL! Interested to hear how you appt goes today. Well, I'm so glad it's not a fungus but I'm not sure this is any better. Esp if it means you might have to have surgery to correct it later. Hopefully keeping the nails down does it and no surgery! Is this Heather that just had a baby? Sorry about dinner. :yikes: Oh No!!! Feel better soon! Not you too! Hope you feel better soon, as well. I'm glad you finally ate something. Are you able to get in for a fill soon? ~~~~~ Feeling better today. Thank you all! Saw my doc yesterday and he gave me back .5 of what was taken out for the emergency unfill. Next month we'll probably put the other .5 back. He actually thought about putting the whole 1 back but I swell so easy and I was at a good place before the unfill so I want to sneak back up on it. I didn't want to have to drive an hour back down the hill to go see him today or tomorrow for another unfill. I've had 4 since Easter! He laughed and said I must be some sort of record for him! Told him I was a special case! Got my work done this AM already. At least what I have. Payroll, financial reports for the council meeting tonight and monthly payroll deposit to the IRS. I'll pick up my file of bills from the office later. DH is at a work mtg and dropped DD off at preschool on his way so the house is VERY quiet. No TV, dog is sleeping and I'm just listening to the storm. Got a fire going in the woodstove and checking in here. Hope you all have a beautiful day! TTFN!
-
Sheesh! Deader 'n a doornail around here today! Well, DD and I got the nasty garbage picked up today. Gross. He peed on some of it and there was scat in the middle of some other of it! Now the can stinks to high heaven b/c of the pee-soaked garbage! YUCK! It's a real earthy, sour stench. Hard to describe but definitely Bear!! Not much going on today. Feel slightly better. After DD and I picked up garbage we helped DH gather wood around the place. He's been trimming trees and taking a few of the smaller-doing-nothing-in -the-way-of-better trees so there were oak logs all over the place. He still has to buck up a tree he fell and another HUGE branch that is the size of a small tree that came off of one of our oaks last summer. It was a work-out since I've been sick. Being down for a few days really kicks your butt! I kept having to take breaks. Crazy! DD is in the tub now so I'm playing on here. Got dinner done and cleaned up. It was a good dinner. Well, she's ready to get out. Better go. I'll check in tomorrow night. I have to go to the city tomorrow for a fill appt then shopping afterwards. Have a great Monday everyone! 'Night!!
-
Yep, it's a little startling! Usually we don't see them, just the "evidence" the next day, or the garbage all over the flippin' place! Sounds like you had a nice time last night! LOL! I live VERY close to Yosemite National Park. We also have a lake a few miles from the house. So, yep, we have critters and that includes Bears! We also have Mtn Lions and Coyote as far as predators go. Deer, Raccoons, Squirrels, Opossum, Fox, etc. I could go on but the list is huge. We're a couple of hours from Sequoia. I have yet to get there. Pitiful, really! We get a yearly pass to Yosemite and tend to head that direction b/c it's so close. That's what kind of irritates me about last night, I KNOW better!!! Tho DH said today that he would have probably broken in to the shed instead. UGH! Anyway, DD and I picked up garbage today. Kinda gross b/c he peed on some of it and left a HUGE pile of scat amongst some it. YUCK!!! Tracy, hon, don't do this to yourself. It's not good. And once you do start eating, you probably won't be able to stop and then you will have just fulfilled your prophecy. Take a little something, put it on a plate or in a bowl, then leave the kitchen. I know it's hard to do (getting out of the kitchen) esp w/kids but you can do this. And if you do get a little out of control, then just know that tomorrow is a new day. I have to tell you that even on my worst eating days post-band, and I've had a few of those lately, they are still better than even my best eating days, pre-band!!! I don't know if that's any comfort to you but it is to me. Hugs. DEFINITELY go get a fill this week. That's what I'm hoping to do tomorrow after getting sick and needing that unfil a few weeks ago. Hoping the doc will give some of it back when I see him in the AM. WhooHoo! The "multi" button is in the lower left corner of each poster's box. Just click to your heart's content then when you're ready to post either click "quote" of the final poster you wish to multi or click on reply. Easy!!

I thought he looked too lean and tall to be a purebred. Are the 'seers really that different body-type wise? I haven't seen too many pics of them but they always "looked" like a regular newf, just different colors. Have you been able to get Tug asleep long enough to measure him? Maybe YOU have the biggest doggie!!! Post pics of him, 'kay. Please!!!!! Compromise and communication are biggies in our house too. I just offer ALL of my best wishes to you in this. Still nothing? Dang! I was hoping you'd have good news by now! I'll keep praying for you and that new job! Hi!!! Glad you're having a good weekend. Congrats on the NSV!!! I can tell you are having SO much fun with all the clothes!!! Best wishes to your DD in whatever she decides. I know that you'll do all you can to help her and guide her. Still praying re: the job! Kat, hope you had a great weekend with the kiddos!!! ~~~~~ Okay, so was posting on another thread tonight when I heard a huge bang outside. The dog is throwing a bloody fit and heading to the kitchen side of the house. I turn on the front porch light and head for the kitchen door. It's got a window in it. This is important here. There is an outside light at that door that's on a sensor. Well, it's not on but the dog, who HATES going in the kitchen, is practically at the door! So I'm standing there, open up the shade and am flipping the damn light switch off and on to get the dumb thing to come ON!!! It finally does and Oh CRAP!!!! BEAR!!!!! Not FOUR FEET AWAY!!!!! It looks at me and dummy me is clapping my hands and telling it to go away. Ummm, yea, like it's going to LISTEN to me!!! So I turn to go get the camera b/c it's flippin' RIGHT THERE!!! And when I get back, it's gone. I am thanking GOD that I didn't do what I normally do and throw the door open to go see what was up. The light never came on b/c he came in on all fours so was too "short" to trip the light on. What I normally do is throw open the door and walk out to the garbage can (that sits right by the door) waving my hand up in the air to trip the sensor. I would have WALKED RIGHT IN TO HIM had I done that tonight!!!! GOD stopped me from opening that door. Since the light didn't come on, I would have no reason the think something was RIGHT THERE!!!! He'd knocked the can over and managed to get the lid off. I know better. I cleaned out the fridge today and locked the lid on it to keep the raccoons out but should have put it in the shed. Just didn't think about the bears. And the campgrounds are closed for the season so they're moving in to the neighborhoods to go after the garbage cans. So I know better. Lived here for 30 years! I should!!! Anyway, it stuck around for awhile, probably eating whatever it took out of the can b/c the dog was still freaking out for awhile. She's calmed down right now so he's probably moved on for tonight. He didn't make a huge mess but it'll be huge by morning. The 'coons will get in to it next and spread it all over kingdom-come!! But I'm not going out there TONIGHT to clean it up. It can frickin' stay there for now!!! On another note, I'm still sick. I hate being sick!!!! Oh man! It's 12:30, I'm going to bed! 'Night!!
-
Warning! This is going to be a long post!!! Thanks. I like how your doctor thinks! Now if I can just get mine on board! And I'm thinking some of my mood swings aren't just my cycle now. Oh and then I also heard somewhere that it causes weight GAIN!!! No wonder I'm a slow loser!!! Diva, you need to do what's BEST for YOU. Not anyone else. If the band isn't working for you, then you need to find something that DOES. I'm glad you'll be sticking around! Thanks for sharing! I appreciate that. I've had migraines for some time and do have other triggers for them and they're controlled with meds. BUT seems like the only ones I have lately have to do w/my cycle, that is supposed to be non-existent while on Depo!!!!!!!! I'm going thru my Rx in a month and they should be lasting longer than that. Oh that SUCKS! I always hated the days at work w/nothing to do! Time drags on days like that!!!! BTW, do you mind if I ask, what do you do? Yikes! Sorry about having to wait. On a happy note, enjoy your kidless time! Such a rare and beautiful thing! LOL!! I'm sorry about the ex-friend and the loss of her father. Substance abuse is such an ugly thing. Wonderful news and what a wonderful DH re: your rings! How exciting!! Hope you had great fun this weekend!! Best wishes on the job hunt. I'm sorry you're struggling right now with your band AND insurance. No fun!!! ~~~~~ What the hell! Big noise. Be back......... Holy crap!!! BEAR!!!! Startled me as he was right out side the f'ing kitchen door!!!! Not 4 feet away!!! Thank GOD for the door (and the window in it) and that I just didn't open it to see what was what! Which is what I normally do!!!!!!! Well, hell, now I've got a big mess to clean up. Well, once the raccoons get thru with it, it will be. He didn't make a huge mess but knocked the garbage can over and managed to get the lid off. NOT going out there tonight to clean it up. I'll just have to deal with it tomorrow AM. Oh and if I'd gone outside, I would've walked right in to him as the automatic light didn't come on. He was on all fours so didn't trip the sensor. I stood inside and flipped the dang switch off and on til it finally came on! I usually just fling open the door and walk right out to the can and wave my hand in the air as I go in order to trip the sensor! YIKES!!! That would have been a disaster! Thank you GOD for stopping me at the door!!! Well, he's still out there somewhere b/c the dog is still having a flippin' fit!!! The fun of living in the mountains!!! I knew better with that can too. All the campgrounds closed a couple of weeks ago and I cleaned out the fridge today. Should have put it in the shed. I made sure the lid was on tight b/c the 'coons have been trying to get in to it but just didn't think about a bear for some reason. Tho we have them. Obviously! Well, he got fed tonight! LOL! Crap. On another note, still sick. Sometimes I think I'm getting better and other times, I know I'm not. I hate being sick! Good night y'all!!!
-
Tami, best wishes to you in your new journey!!! And good for you for taking a hard look at things and making the necessary changes. That is such a hard thing to do!
-
Ummm, okay. If you're not cycling, and that's what the Depo does, STOPS the cycle, then there is no egg dropped to even think about meeting any sperm it may or may not come in contact with. smsmithart, I'm thinking it does the same to me too. Tho I'm still having breakthru after being on it for over a year and at the highest dose you can get. I'm thinking it's time for more drastic measures. My stuff don't work anyway, might as well get rid of it. Would take care of ALL of my problems then!
-
Real quick. I'm sick and I'm going to bed! I'll have to catch up w/everyone later. Oh and DH got back to his station this afternoon. DD was thrilled to go see him. 'Night.
-
Hey y'all! Just a quick check in. I'm sick. DH is home. Okay well, home in that he's back at his station and God-willing, not going out again anytime soon. Hoping he'll be HOME on Sunday! Plain, here's a link for you. ND woman's 7-foot-long dog could be record holder - Yahoo! News Take a good look tho. That dog's got a Dane in him somewhere! Slim, good to see you! Have a great Friday everyone!!!!
-
No such luck. She started preschool this year! It'll be off and on ALL year! And now I'm coming down with it!! :wink2: She had a cold last month, then we both had that 24hr flu bug a couple of weeks ago and now another cold. We're in trouble!! LOL!!! I don't know that I have any advice for you. You have to decide some pretty tough stuff. Question tho - When you think of moving and DH has said he WON'T move, how does that make you feel? (Are you heartbroken at the thought? Are you telling him to f'off in your head?) You don't need to answer that here, it's for you to answer to yourself. The answer may help you make some decisions. You're in a tough spot. Know that I'm praying for wisdom and clear-thinking for you AND your DH. Best wishes for a call back! And lets hope this place will actually CALL you back!!!! She's feeling A LOT better today. She got a really great night of sleep last night and I think that helped a bunch. Me? Not so good tonight. Hopefully it doesn't hit me too hard. She's only been down for a few days so I'm hoping to do the same. Maybe the cops were doing a checkpoint? Or they've been having problems in that area so they decided to saturate it. You always wonder tho. Congrats on the win! ~~~~~ Heard from DH tonight. They were getting de-mob'd then heading to a hotel for some much needed sleep tonight. They'll be up and out at 6AM to then head HOME!!! DD was pretty excited! She said, let's go! I was confused til between her excitement and a light bulb over my head I figured out she thought we could go to the hotel and see papa tonight! I don't know where she got that idea but I had to put a kibosh on it! I also had to explain that he doesn't actually get to "come home to the house" come home but he'll be back at the station tomorrow afternoon and we'll be able to go by and see him later. He's still on duty til Sunday. Thursday starts his regular shift. I sure don't understand how a 3 year old thinks but it keeps me on my toes!!! I'm headed to bed soon. 'Night all!

Okay, well this week was pitiful. I'm not even going to post it, it was so bad. Excuses, valid tho they are, will not get this butt smaller! DD (3 yrs old) has been sick all week and DH has been out on a fire all week, so, it's just me. And now I'm getting sick and DH might be home on Sunday. LOVELY!! :wink2: Have a great week everyone!!

Oh Fanny! Great news on the WL but so sorry that you had a rough day yesterday! Isn't how that always happens? On the day you really want everything to go well, we mess it up with our eating. Habits! UGH!!! Please don't stress on the "ruined" dinner. You can always go again and I know it's not the same but you can't stress out on it either. Liquids today is an excellent idea. I sure hope you're feeling better soon. ~~~~~ Got my work done and back down to the office. Went to the store and picked up a few things. On the way home had to stop for a wreck. So sad. Looked like a head-on and since the HS had just gotten out, probably involved teenagers. I'm hoping everyone is okay but by the look of the vehicles, it was bad. I said a prayer for all involved as we went thru. I sure hope everyone is going to be okay. Hope everyone has a quiet evening. EBONY- news? TTFN! Gotta go!

Thanks, Jennifur, I thought it might have been a uterine ablasion. My doc is probably going to want me to try that first BUT it doesn't take care of the SYMPTOMS and that's a lot of my problem, well besides the bleeding! I've been on Depo for over a year and have always bled thru and my symptoms have not reduced or gone away and I thought they were going to. I'm sick of it. I have migraines w/my cycle and they're pretty bad. I'm now cycling every couple of weeks, that includes everything! I don't want surgery but I'm going to push for a hysterectomy. I'm so done with this crap! I've never NOT had problems. From the time I started as a kid. Can't get pregnant so what's the point now? We'll see what happens when I see him in Nov. Good news! I am curious but if you don't want to put it out there, that's okay too. And you're right, probably shouldn't put anything out on the great WWW anymore! Could come back to bite you in the butt later. ~Hang in there, Irene. I keep saying, and you may have heard me say it, that they should have done some brain surgery while they had us out and were working on the stomach! I'm finding there is WAY more head stuff than I expected for myself. I didn't think I had "issues" and I've discovered over the last year, that I definitely have "issues!" We've got your back! Let us know what you need from us and we'll do what we can to help you. ECCO is a gorgeous place. Next time you're here, holler and we'll see if we can't meet up! ~~~~~ Got my work done and back in to the office. I do the books for our church from home. Very part time, a few hours a week, so I can stay home w/DD. I worked in the office for 9+ years before hiring in behind me and leaving to come home. DD went to work with me for the first year+ til it got too hard to take her with me. She got too vocal and mobile! LOL! Been working for the church for 11 years now. After we dropped everything off we stopped at the store to pick a few things up. On the way home had to stop for a bad wreck. Thinking at least one vehicle was teenagers. It was right after HS got out and at a road they use to avoid the main exit from school. It was a head on and the pickup and car were a mess. I said prayers for those involved on our way thru. Hope their injuries weren't too bad but it didn't look good. :cursing: Okay, gotta go.

Thanks Fanny! I have actually seen (pictures/TV) both but didn't know what the Echidnas were. I read what you had said wrong and thought they were cross-breeding them! Probably had that in my head with the dog stuff. Appreciate the pics. I find them fascinating. Didn't know about the venomous spurs on the Platypus! Yikes! Gotta be careful with those critters. Thanks, Tap but it's DD who is sick, tho I may not be far behind. DH asks ME to fix computer stuff. He's even afraid to even touch mine when he wants to check on something real quick and mine's on but his isn't. He'll sometimes go ahead and wait for his to boot up instead of just using mine! LOL! Bet the storms were something else! I'm thinking we should switch were we live. You come live here and I go live there. I love your weather and you seem to like mine! LOL! Tap, as long as the weather is sunny and warm, you'll love it! LOL!! (Couldn't resist!!) Already there! Been using the woodstove, tho it's warming up for a few days so won't need it. And I've already had chili in the crockpot. Have the leftovers in the freezer!! Be sure to let us know how the interview goes today! Best wishes!!!! You are going to have so much fun with the kids! I think even the 4 yr old is going to be impressed again! How fun for them to see Grandpa in action!!! So cool! ~~~~~ DD slept in til about 9 this AM. She seems a little better but she'll stay home from school again tomorrow. We'll just resume back up next week. Then they have the week after that one off for Fall Break :wink2: and then back to school. We'll see how many colds she gets for this month! Better go so I can get some work done. TTFN!

I'm right there with ya, sister! I got off track this summer. It got too hot to walk the neighborhood. I have a perfectly good treadmill but hate using it, so did I walk anyway? NO! Now I'm having a hard time getting back in to it now that the weather has finally cooled off. WhooHoo!!!! Jenn, I don't know how I missed your pics! They're GREAT! I hate bloat!! What was your surgery, if you don't mind my asking? Sounds like female issues. I go see my GYN next month and we need to make some solid, serious decisions re: my cycles. Thanks. Best wishes today! Hope you get some good answers. Hopefully you get to go this weekend! Sounds like fun! Hopefully it doesn't hurt DS but I think he made the right decision to stay home. Thanks, just feels wrong when she's sick, to be worried about how it might affect you. Yea, I know! LOL! I'm loving this weather but I'm so cold! LOL! Looks like there might be a small possibility of rain next week, coming down out of Alaska! Brrrr! :wink2: What kind of training are you thinking of? Will it bring you to my area?! How fun! I love it when the stores are empty! I hate crowds. What great NSVs!!! So nice to be able to shop in regular sizes now! I forget tho and still start to head to the Plus size section. I'm not shopping for much tho! I have clothes and am trying to not buy much since I'm still going down. There are some things I need periodically but I'm not buying much. Can't afford it either. Tho I sure am WANTING to shop and I hate shopping!!! LOL!!! ~~~~~ I let DD sleep in til about 9 when she got up on her own. She needed it. She seems to be feeling a little better today. I'll keep her home tomorrow too tho. I've got to get some work done today. Need to get it back down to the office. Not really wanting to take DD out tho. I may call the secretary and ask if she wouldn't mind running up to the house to pick the stuff up. I hate to even ask. I'm only a couple of miles up the road but still. Maybe I'll find out if Pastor is going by and see if maybe he'll stop by on his way. He lives up the road from me so he has to go by my street. I'll make some phone calls when I'm done with my work and see.
