I had a UTI after surgery also. I was told that before I had surgery I most likey had the beginning of a UTI And by having the Cather during surgery it made it worse. I was also told it was common. I went to urgent care the first time they prescribed bactrim which did nothing. I went back to urgent care 6 day later because I became worse. They changes antiboditic to keflex and it resolved the UTI but I drank a lot of Water. And kept tight clear liquid diet. Mrs. Marrufo Phone
