Hey! I had my surgery just a couple of days after you on 7/23 and I am 20lbs down as well. So I would say we both must be doing something right. Keep doing what your doing! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

What kind of vitamin?
NurseAmy1969 replied to NurseAmy1969's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thanks a lot Bonnie! As it turns out the Protein I use is from unjury. I didn't have a clue they did Vitamins as well. I'm gonna have to go online and find those right away. Thanks for the CVS 411 I'll hunt those out just as soon as my surgeon clears me to drive. Hopefully Friday! I'm looking to have great blood work as well. Wow! 6 years post op. I can't believe one day I'll have that much time under my belt. Thanks for the encouragement! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
So I'm 4 days post op and I have no real idea of what type of Vitamin I should be getting. Anybody have some brands I should try? And should it be chewable or gummy? Also I heard that I should be having sublingual B12. Is anybody else doing that too?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

How much walking did everyone do after suegery?
NurseAmy1969 replied to rimmarrufo's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey I had my surgery on Thursday as well. My surgeon told me I should be up moving around every half an hour for 10-15min at a time. I had a little shoulder pain turned out to be just had. Walking around made it ease up quickly. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Hey! We have the same surgery date. Two days and counting. I'm super excited but nervous as well. You made it this far right? Life is about to change for the positive. Make sure you keep in touch. I can't wait to hear how yours went. Good Luck!

Great responses to my question. I appreciate the thoughtfulness! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
I suppose like many people I have been wanting and waiting to have this surgery for a very long time. I've tried to have it over the last 10 years and I've been unsuccesful. But now here I am a 47 year old widow once again on the verge of life changing experience. I am so happy that my surgery is just 4 days away, and tomorrow I go to do my pre op registration. So why the heck am I so nervous?! I've been reading everything and anything on RNY since I started my process 10 months ago. I know what's going to happen, I know what to expect. I've been on Instagram and YouTube following so many peoples journey. So I feel I have a grip on what's in store for me. So why the heck am I so nervous?! I cannot be the only one who is getting ready to have their surgery and is losing it a litt bit. Or just had their surgery and clearly remembers felling anxious. It's not the liquid diet, I'm doing fine with that. It's not that I will have a lot of excess skin. So why the heck am I so nervous?! The wheels are set in motion and It's getting real now.
