  1. I posted something similar in a thread in the gastric bypass post-op board, but I thought it might fit better here. I'm just two months out from my surgery, and up until a couple weeks ago I was averaging a loss of about 3lbs/week. I got sick (some nasty virus or head cold or something) a couple weeks ago and haven't been well enough to go to the gym, and I gained 3lbs back in the last two weeks. I feel like I'm hungrier than I was before and afraid I'm eating more than I should, and I'm paranoid that my pouch is stretching out. I'm terrified that my body has decided this is the size I'm destined to be and that I'm never going to weigh less than 200lbs, let alone reach my goal weight. I don't know what to do or how to solve it. Please, someone tell me this is normal and I'm just overthinking everything. (Side note: I finally feel well enough to start back at the gym tomorrow so I'm hoping that'll kickstart my body back into losing again.)

    Not losing

I'm going through the same thing. I'm 2 months out from Sx and I had been averaging a loss of about 3lbs a week, and then I plateaued.
