    Weight watchers - Anyone else?

    Thanks for everyone's input! I really appriciate it. I am going to sign up for WW today. I think being held accountable and having a weekly weighin will help me greatly. I don't think seeking extra help is a sign of failure, just another measure to help me get to my goal. Afterall, if it was easy to loose weight none of us would of had to have the band. If anyone else is doing WW would love to chat/email pointers and tips. Also, in case you havent heard there is a website called Hungry Girl (fitting huh?) and they have a new book out. She takes receipes from resturants and makes a healthier version and includes the ww points in all of them. Best of luck to everyone in their journey!
  5. I am struggling with my weightloss and thinking of joining weight watchers. Is anyone else doing it? If so, how many points are you doing? Any help would be greatly appriciated! I tried the new search and cant freaking find anything:cursing:. Am I the only one???:cursing: Amanda
  6. Does anyone here use them? I HATE cooking and am so busy it never seems to work out. I am looking at the Zone, BB new plan and a couple others. So the question of the day is do you use one? How does the food taste? Do you have any issues with the food they send? Can they customize for a bandster? Thanks!
  7. Ok, I can eat....I mean really eat now. I have NO restriction, none, nada, zip, zilch :sigh: Tortillas, yep I can eat them. Bread, sure not a problem. Angel food cake....umm sure. My Dr. requires that we wait 6 WHOLE...LONG....DRAWN OUT WEEKS for our first fill. I am dying! How long did you have to wait? Semi afraid that I will gain before my appt so the good news is every darn thing I eat, even the crumbs I find are tracked and I am staying arround 1000 calories. Please, someone get the food away from me....

    Where are you....and what do you do?

    Let see, I am Amanda. I am from Or-Y-gon. I have 3 kiddos (5,4 &2) and thinking about #4:ohmy: My family owns a Real Estate/Property Management firm and I am the General Manager. I also am a Project Manager for larger complexes and large renovations.

    Thank you for the feedback on the local dr's for fills....I've been on the hunt with little luck. Just cuz I was banded in TJ doesn't mean I have cooties :ohmy: Looking forward to chatting with you all!

    I can eat....

    So excited!!! Today I got to start "real" food....food I can actually chew (not pretend to chew). So this morning I had a scrambled egg and a few bites of melon - HEAVEN!!!!! Still trying to figure out dinner, so afraid of a pb. Now I am counting down the weeks until my first fill. The excited chewing girl!!!!
  11. My first mini goal is under 200 (its been 10+years:eek:), i have 18lbs left. I need new makeup so I decided when I reach my goal I am going to go to the MAC counter for a makeover & get all new makeup! So excited. My ultimate goal weight, my reward is going to be an all new wardrobe from Nordstrom's including a personal shopper!!!! Can't wait.

    Hello! My surgeon is Dr. Ortiz in TJ. I suppose he will be my follow up dr to as no one local will touch me with a ten foot poll. Glad to know there are other Oregon's out there!
  14. I had one 3 days post op. Complete meltdown over McDonalds. I think it is the stress on the body, nerves and lack of food!

    April Exercise Challenge

    OK, I am in. I want to be down to 200 by the end of April I plan on doing 20 hours cardio and once I am released (mid April) weight lifting 2x's a week.
