Yep. I cut booze out after the first month of my six-month pre-op diet (mid-April). I just couldn't justify the calories it would take up out of the 1200 I allowed myself. I've been six months booze-free now. That's certainly the longest period of my adult life. (And something I would have never thought possible even a year or so ago...)

Good for you, Suzzzzz! I gave in too often to the wine on vacation and ended up gaining a pound.

And I ALWAYS eat two popsicles...there's a reason the wrappers are stuck together, right? 3 is even better

@ShelterDog64 I had to laugh. Why have I been bothering to break those wrappers apart? I have a new outlook. I did drink wine on vacation for pleasure. Just don't want it or food to be my regular go to for comfort.(notice I said regular.)
