    Desk snacks/your favorite no-fridge foods

I like the cheddar sour cream flavor of the quest protein chips. The bbq are meh. Don't buy the sea salt....disgusting. The sour cream and onion are okay too. I haven't tried the salt and vinegar yet, they are at home though to try!

    Heavy Duty Scale

I noticed some of the reviews say theirs died. I've had mine for 2 years with no problem.

    Heavy Duty Scale

This is the scale I use: https://www.amazon.com/My-Weigh-XL-550-Talking-Bathroom/dp/B0014ZQH84/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1493916572&sr=8-3-fkmr1&keywords=heavy+duty+scale+550+pounds It goes up to 550 pounds. I was 540 at my highest. Funny thing...I didn't know it talked. One day after I had moved it I turned it on and it said "hello" I freaked out! haha The talking is helpful though because when I was so heavy I would need someone else to look at the weight because I couldn't see it but it just tells me the weight so I could weigh myself on my own. I still use it and I'm now 290 pounds. I still think the talking is helpful because I feel your weight changes if you bend your head down. I love it.

    Itchy hands

I would call your doctor. It sounds like an allergic reaction of some kind. You can probably just call your PCP.

    Whats next?

It really depends on your plan what kind of wait you will have...Some plans require no wait, some 3 months, some 6 months. The only one who can tell you what the requirements are is your insurance company.

    Unrealistic expectations?

You kind of need to eat all day to get your calories in.

    Unrealistic expectations?

@New Me 31317 For me it was my nutritionist and doctor together. I was on each stage for 2 weeks.

    Unrealistic expectations?

You can add in another small meal in there some where. Either between lunch and dinner or after dinner. Or like @MarinaGirlbeef up your current meals. You can add higher calorie products to your meals in order to have higher calories. Add peanut butter to your shake, have more slices of cheese, add meat into your cheese snack. It's hard in the beginning but you get into a groove.

    Unrealistic expectations?

So you shouldn't compare your loss to anyone elses. Everyone loses at a different rate. 24 pounds in less that 2 months is FANTASTIC!! Be proud of your loss! You are at the lower end of weight so you will lose slower anyway. I might also try upping your calories a bit. At 8 weeks out I was eating 600-800 calories. If you are not getting enough calories you also might not be losing as fast. Your surgeon may have a different calories goal than mine though. But really...you have lost a great amount of weight. I know how you feel about not meeting personal expectations but it is working. Everyone goes through stalls too so not losing in 4 days is normal. Start taking measurements because sometimes the scale isn't moving but your measurements are shrinking. I didn't lose any pounds in 2 weeks but I went down a clothing size. This process is hard and complicated but you are doing everything right. Try not to focus so much on the scale (I know that's easier said than done!) and focus on how you feel and how your clothes fit! Good luck to you!

    NSV and SV!!

@MissDonni I would just need a revision to my tummy tuck once I meet goal because I would have lost almost another 100 pounds and there will be more extra skin.

    Researching...

I had the sleeve on May 29, 2016. When I started the process I was 540 pounds. At surgery I was 480 pounds and today (11 months out) I am 290 pounds. That is a 250 pound loss. I LOVE my sleeve and am glad I didn't do the bypass. If you have heartburn problems it's not suggested to get the sleeve as it can make heartburn worse. I have exceeded my surgeons weight loss expectations and I am finally able to the life I always wanted to but couldn't

    HOP INTO SPRING CHALLENGE!!

@gnomeloverSorry I missed your last sentence. 220 sounds like a good goal since there are 5 more weigh ins. You can also adjust your goal anytime during the challenge if you reach it or if you don't feel you will make it. Do you know what your weigh ins were for 4/7, 4/14, and 4/21?
