Well I never said anything about ground meat. But refried Beans can have a lot of sodium some sugar and may not be best to each their own. Mayo again I would think sparingly, and again to the earlier "recipe" I can't imagine that concoction being an ideal Protein choice at 2-3 oz.

Niko you were looking for a response from a presurgery person that has a lot of stuff that would not fit most plans post op (refried Beans dressing mayo)? Odd.
-
Let me think on this and resurrect in 2-3 weeks.

Depends on whether you get approval in timely manner and if you have done all your surgeons pre-op tests.

I have only eaten at movie when it coincides with normal meal and I just bring what I would normally eat (chicken cheese). I agree if you need to bring something and not at meal time make it shake or Water.

Need bariatric vitamin suggestions- HELP NEEDED
chycky replied to Browneyedgirl41's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Oh and I meant Centrum vitaMINTS it's their new chewable available everywhere. I agree about wasting money it is hard. I also have a liquid one someone here used and i bought from Amazon it was not pricey but it tastes like bile or earwax or maybe a better description is death. It tastes like berry flavored hell. -
I love pb2 but you can also get a Jiff powdered peanut butter from Amazon that has no sugar.

I have had filet. Plus bonus, I get to have filet the next day when I eat the rest!

I just discovered Centrum Vitamins and they are awesome. My blood work came back fine. For Vitamin d I actually like bluebonnet brand liquid drops. Bariatric Advantage calcium chews are ok. I do NOT like the Bari ad calcium chewable tablets or chewable tablet vitamins -

I did not have sleep issues, snoring or sleep apnea so I was not forced to do sleep study. I had EGD and psych evaluation and ekg/cardiac clearance. -

@@bflyeffect7 I was sleeved by Dr. Moazzez in June! Best of luck! Have you been to any of the practices support group meetings? So far, I have not been free for any of those Mondays, but I am trying to make one if for no other reason to donate some unopened shakes and chewable vitamins! -
Ask your surgeon. I had to wait 8 weeks post op for caffeinated coffee. I have only rarely had a latte as it seems a lot of calories given what I take in but maybe if it was with protein it would be worth it.
-
Are you post-op. I had a dramatic what I call deflation/aka return of my ankles post op. Even now it is more. I would not say exercise helped but obviously diet and weight loss did. I do have mild swelling if I have been on feet or very active.

I love my nespresso machines! I have one in office and one home. It is definitely saved me from Starbucks expenses. I also used the decaf when off coffee and being able to have small coffee is ideal since take so long to drink sometimes! -

Yeah it can not only fill you up or push nutrients through too fast, it can make you throw up. Like an overflowing glass is how it was explained to me. -
Wow. I guess I would go to urgent care if after using the enema nothing happens. Are you in midst of a blockage or just feeling backed up? If you are not feeling like giving birth but severely bloated the ducolax and or fleet should get things moving within hours. For me as it was in midst of something coming that I could not get out the enema worked. Since then the Fiber has been preventative

Fleet enema is your next step. After that add benefiber to your water or protein shake.

Had to wait 8 weeks until caffeine. Had some decaf had started to wean from caffeine a couple of months pre-op. It was almost as sad as leaving my best friends red wine and Perrier. At least Java came back to me and so far no issues having caffeinated coffee back in my life. -
